A vicious hate-motivated assault left a Jewish man temporarily blacked out on Shabbos afternoon in Crown Heights.
The attack occurred at approximately 1:00 PM near Eastern Parkway and Brooklyn Ave when an unprovoked assailant began targeting Jewish men, chasing them while screaming anti-Semitic rhetoric including references to Gaza. The perpetrator then focused on a Bochur who was simply walking by, launching a brutal assault that included repeated punches and kicks, leaving the victim temporarily blacked out before fleeing the scene.
Witnesses immediately contacted Crown Heights Shmira, who responded alongside NYPD and Hatzalah. Despite an extensive search, the dangerous suspect had already fled. Shmira’s investigation reveals this is likely the same individual responsible for Thursday evening’s unprovoked shoving incident near Eastern Parkway and Albany Ave, and Friday morning’s deliberate traffic obstruction at Crown St and New York Ave. The suspect was not arrested in either incident.
Shmira received additional reports that the perpetrator attempted to attack other Jewish residents on Shabbos afternoon. If you are a victim of this dangerous individual, please contact Shmira immediately.
Through coordinated efforts between Shmira and the NYPD, the dangerous suspect was successfully apprehended and arrested later on in the day.
The NYPD hate crimes task force will be notified about this incident.

I saw the same guy shouting and chasing people on empire and Kingston around 11 am. I’m sure the stores from there have footage. Some women crossed the street to get away from him, and a guy and his kid were running away as well.

For the benefit of civilized society and law-abiding human beings, this perpetrator needs to be locked up full-time or put down. Clearly, he is a tremendous danger to random passersby.

This is clearly a hate crime and the assailant is clearly a dangerous criminal and a menace to Jewish people. He should be behind bars for at least 5 years for this disgusting unprovoked violent assault and hate crime. Our grandson 10 yrs old. was leaving Oholei Torah after davening, as scheduled… he saw the perp was on the steps and looked like he was going to enter the Yeshiva at one point…Note! there was Zero Security Guard that day!
