The Rebbe used to daven in his father’s shtible in Paris
Laibel Baumgarten is the nicest man I’ve ever met.
It’s nice that there is Shalom between Chabad and Bobov/Satmar. Would be more impressive, important and Hashem’s will if each of these 3 groups cam make Shalom anonst themselves.
you are the best!
you are right
When do you notice the difference between oir – light and choshech – darkness ??? When is this difference going to make its biggest mark on those you want to point out this difference??? Laaniyas daati YOU have something you are afraid to say and project publicly. When I want to point out the supremecy of the iphone over the blackberry I compare the two against each other and voila, to the listener who sees before his very eyes the difference, this is light and this is dark, the point is made then, strongest. unless off course YOU think the… Read more »
as to who is the Bobov Rebbe and Chabad policy is not to get involved, it is preferable for you to distinguish him by calling him The RM
Pointing out the difference here is just so degrading. Who ever thought there was a comparison?
Those who protest so much and insist on declaring the supremacy of the Rebbe, leave themselves open to suspicion of harboring deep doubts about their own relationship with him. Perhaps even doubts about him.
Yes, I know, there are many such “chassidim” and it makes you wonder why MORE youngsters don’t head out of Lubavitch. All the hypocrisy of screaming and screeching in defense: “Rebbe!”. Give me a break.
awesome news!!!
🙂
Can’t you see he is quoting our frierdike rebbe?
like the story with one of the rabbeim, the way to show that you are higher is not through pushing down the other into a pit, rather through lifting yourself up.
You can admire something other than yourselves without being threatened.
I believe #2 is responding to the slightly negative comment by #1. They are not condemning what the website put on.
or is it a tipish er
you woke up on the wrong side of the bed??? No one is puting anyone down. When a Chabad site features “other” situations with the utmost of respect. the contrast becomes obvious thats all.
Reckognize from the comparison what you got and cherish it. Put it on a pedestal (in your mmind and for your children) what we should hold high, Bar none.

for more (very good ) good stuff call 718-735-7333 push one for yiddish 9 for the Rebbe line, 6 for this weeks story . The Rebbe is it – period end of story.
The Previous Rebbe writes, “We respect what other people hold as holy, but hold our own to precious.”
We know how great our Rebbe is. He doesn’t need to be lifted up through chopping anyone else down.
Also “No beer or juice on our table, only Holiness”
is ridiculous. Are we malachim?
Nothing like our Rebbe ( he cares every second for us with No vacation time). How lucky we are – how we must understand and appreciate how fortunate we are – listen to todays Sicha (Sichos.com) and absorb the love the guidance and the Holiness of our Rebbe
