CANTORIAL MATCHMAKING
The Tel Aviv Cantorial Institute, under the leadership of Chazzan Naftali Herstik, is launching a new initiative to connect chazzanim with shuls and Chabad centers around the world.
Whether it be for the Yomim Noroim, a permanent position, a Shabbos or an event, this placement center will make the match, says Chazzan Dovid Caytak who will be running it.
Caytak lives in Jerusalem and serves as the Chazzan of the Marina Roscha Synagogue in Moscow during the Yomim Noroim.
He says the cantorial institute has been the leading institute for the study of the art of Chazzanus since 1984.
“Now that TACI has fulfilled the great need of making sure that there are adequate Chazzanim and Baalei Tfila, TACI has decided to create an official platform and center to connect Chazzanim with Shuls and Chabad Houses,” he says.

BEIS HAMIKDASH IN 3D
Singer Ruli Dikman hosts child singer Netanel Menat for a vocal version of the songs “Bemakom Ze” about the Beis Hamikdash.
Instead of a typical music video, they had an animation clip created showing the Beis Hamikdash rebuilt and how the service of the Kohanim resumed with the coming of Moshiach.
