A unique tailor-made Chanukah Menorah has been designed and built by an anonymous donor of Chabad, Gants Hill, Essex UK.
101 Menorahs depicting all of our remaining hostages appear on one side with the picture of an individual hostage on the other side.
Built out of heavy metal, surrounded by a cage highlighting the sad plight of our hostages still held by Hamas.
Rabbi Aryeh Sufrin, Executive Director, Head Shliach of Chabad across Essex UK, “Each one of these 101 Menorahs is a unique project designed and built by hand by a concerned congregant and supporter of Chabad who shared his idea with me 6 weeks ago”.
“This fulfils the Rebbes vision for us all to add in mitzvah’s and good deeds, with the added theme of a little light pushes away much darkness”. We are therefore encouraging the wider community to take one of these menorahs and encourage another Jew, ideally who would otherwise not kindle a menorah, to do so on behalf of a hostage, unable to light themselves”, said Rabbi Sufrin.
The community has been encouraged to contact our office and claim their menorah participating in this special mitzvah.
With our prayers that their plight will end immediately with long-term peace and security for all in Israel and Jews across the world with the coming of the Moshiach.

GO ESSEX!
