When Levi Tiechtel, son of Nashville, TN Shluchim Yitzchok and Esther Tiechtel, was about to celebrate his Bar Mitzvah, he asked his parents for a gift to mark the occasion.
The nearly 13-year-old had a special request from his parents, and it was not the latest gadget or hi-tech device. To their surprise, he said he would like to have at least 50 people from their community put on Tefillin.
Although it seemed like a stretch, Rabbi Tiechtel got to work, and to their pleasant surprise, reached their goal and then some, when one recent Sunday morning over 50 people put on Tefillin at their Chabad Center.
