A beautiful new mini-bus has been dedicated at Bais Rivkah girls school in Crown Heights on Thursday, and will be used in a new first-of-its-kind project.
The new vivid pink, state-of-the-art bus, will be transporting groups of students to and from the Ohel of the Rebbe in Queens for weekly and bi-weekly trips.
A special curriculum is being created for learning about hiskashrus and other topics, which will include these trips for students in both High School and Elementary School.
The bus was donated by friends of Bais Rivkah, Osher and Rivkah Karnowsky in memory of their son Shmuel Karnowsky OBM.
“The girls will have a beautiful experience traveling to the Rebbe’s Ohel – both b’gashmius and b’ruchnius,” Rabbi Moshe Pinson, the school’s Director of Development said.
The bus boasts a beautiful interior, with chargers and cupholders at every seat, comfortable seats, a large screen that will play JEM videos of the Rebbe, and during the trips the girls will he served drinks and snacks as well.
