As Bais Rivkah Seminary Division of Higher Learning moves through a strong and vibrant 5786 academic year, we are excited to announce major enhancements in staff, student programming, and facilities, ensuring our programs’ success as it opens admissions for 5787.
This year has already seen a steady increase in experiential learning, individualized mentoring, and student leadership opportunities. In response to the rising demand from local and out-of-town applicants, we are expanding our team and infrastructure to serve an even larger student body next year.
Among the new additions, we are thrilled to welcome Mrs. Sara Blau, who has joined the leadership team to develop and direct extracurricular programming. Mrs. Blau brings extensive experience in curriculum design, student engagement, and Chassidus education. She is implementing a series of new initiatives for our girls, leveling up the seminary experience and their community involvement.
“Our seminary is continuously evolving to meet the needs of today’s students,” said Mrs. Chana Gorowitz, director of the Seminary Division. “This year’s expansions allow us to deepen our programming and create more touchpoints for mentorship and personal development.”
The seminary’s faculty includes an incredible group of mashpi’im and mechanchos, including Rabbi Yossi Paltiel, Rabbi Levi Garelik, Rabbi Ari Shishler, Rabbi Naftali Silberberg, Mrs. Sara Morozov, Mrs. Chanie Wolf, Mrs. Dena Gorkin, Mrs. Hindy Gorowitz, and many other incredible educators and speakers who are sought after worldwide.
Throughout the years, our students have been given opportunities for frequent shabbatons, immersive shlichus experiences, and a personalized mentoring system. Our curriculum offers multiple tracks and electives, and the annual highlight, a month-long trip to Eretz Yisroel, fully arranged by the seminary.
Our students live in a modern, comfortable dorm with meals provided daily. In the coming months, seminary classes are scheduled to move into a newly renovated academic building, made possible by the generous donors of the Brick by Brick campaign, further elevating the learning environment for both current and future students.
Learning and living in Crown Heights gives our students daily exposure to the heart of Chabad life. With a steady stream of visitors, farbrengens, and community events, students find that inspiration and real-world growth happen not only in the classroom but within the rhythm of the neighborhood itself.
Applications for the 5787 academic year will open on December 25 (ה׳ טבת).
