Last night, Bais Rivkah in Crown Heights surpassed their campaign goal of $1 Million to help the school face the future and continue to build and grow despite the current challenges.
A groundbreaking 2,500 donors have united in the “Let’s Face It” Campaign―far exceeding any previous campaign that Bais Rivkah has ever run.
The final hours of the campaign were streamed live online, with a musical show featuring singer Lipa Schmeltzer and Mendy J, hosted by comedian Mendy Pellin. Thousands tuned in for the event streamed live on COLive.com, which also featured Bais Rivkah students and their fathers in an entertaining game show.
VIP donors joined the event in person, where they enjoyed an art exhibition and food by Gruit.
The campaign reached its goal of $1 million, and then exceeded it, to the great excitement of the student volunteers.
“We can’t thank enough the students and teachers of Bais Rivkah for their help during the campaign,” the Bais Rivkah Board said.
“The excitement from the students to help their own school with such dedication was truly powerful,” the board said. “It was very encouraging to see and shows that the future will continue to get even brighter.”
The school extends its deepest gratitude to the members of our community who joined in this pivotal campaign and helped raise these critical funds.
“Bais Rivkah is a community school, that goes out of its way to accommodate everyone,” says Director of Development Rabbi Moshe Pinson. “We are always there for everyone in the community, no matter their means or circumstances,” he said.
Special thanks to Mushkah Deitsch for running the campaign, and Galia Bender for producing the concert event. Special thanks to Gruit, Sauce and Cheese, Boeuf and Bun, Mendy’s Restaurant and Sushi Spot for their sponsorship.
