This Sunday, the mobile ‘Baderech kids library’ commenced its operations by reaching five bungalow colonies.
Excitement filled the air as children eagerly flocked to borrow books. Over the next two months, the library truck aims to journey across the country, visiting five additional locations each day, bringing the joy of reading to young kids.
The Baderech truck known as a mobile Sifrei Chassidus store throughout the year, is designed to bring chassidus to communities that otherwise wouldn’t have access.
However, during the summer months, it transforms into a mobile children’s library packed to the brim with high quality chassidishe literature.
This summer, the Baderech Kids Summer Library will once again be hitting the roads of upstate New York, inviting children of all ages to come, peruse its shelves, and pick out a pile of wholesome books to enjoy. With this incredible resource, you might just hear the “I’m bored” kvetches a little less often this summer.
Due to popular demand from vacationers, the library truck will be stationed upstate full-time this summer, making stops at various new bungalow colonies and leaving behind a trail of inspiration.
According to Ohr HaChasidus’ director Rabbi Avraham Mann, “The Baderech Kids Library truck is designed to spread the light of chassidus through chassidishe books, reaching more people and making chassidus accessible to Yidden of all backgrounds.”
