Avraham Schwartzberg, a resident of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away on Friday, 11 Tammuz, 5780.
He was 70.
He is survived by his wife Mrs. Gittel Schwartzberg.
The Levaya took place on Sunday.

Avraham was truly a special guy. Everyone that knew him loved him. He will be sorely missed!
We lost a Tzaddik
I still remember the picture of Avrohom 45 years ago, davening with Tephillim. As the story told by that picture so he was; a serious, truthful, smiling, kind, gentle person.
We worked together in the 1990s in a large government organization where Avraham was either answering phones and fielding complicated technical questions or working with visual aids. His integrity to his work and his commitment to Judaism in those years was a Kiddush Hashem. In spite of his poor health Avraham was always upbeat and a source of encouragement. He was a southern gentleman who could smell out hypocrisy and sanctimony in people but dismiss both with a good laugh. During Summer and Fall, 2006, I travelled from Toronto to Pittsburgh 21 times within 5 months on business. On one occasion, I met Reb Avraham and family in kosher pizza shop in Squirrel Hill, Pittsburgh. I also remember and spoke to Gittel, lehavdil, and met the rest of the family there. In partnership with Reb Avraham, z”l”, I was told by Gittel, lehavdil, in tone of utmost sincerity and strong ahavas yisrael: “maybe you would like to spend a Shabbos with us”. I met Avraham in the Summer of 1971. We kept in touch. He went to Morristown and invited me for a Shabbos in 1974. That’s how I came to Lubavitch.
