Avi Marshall , a young man who lived in South Florida, passed away on Wednesday, 10 Elul, 5781.
He was 43 and passed away after a brief illness.
Avi had a heart of gold and brought good energy everywhere he went, he was so humble yet so generous, he would greet everyone with a smile and treat each person with dignity and respect regardless of who they were or how they might have appeared.
He had very strong Jewish values and would always inspire the people he came in contact with. At the Shabbos table, he was known for honoring shabbos with the best wine he could find.
His generosity was great, yet unknown by most, he gave tzedakah in so many ways but did so quietly without asking for any recognition, from shluchim he supported to friends in need that others might have looked past, Avi was always there and never made a big deal out of anything, he was happy to help and did it quietly.
Avi is survived by his loving parents and siblings.

Good bye my friend, I will miss you Avi. I already miss laughing with you. You will always be remembered and talked about in my family. I’m glad I was able to tell you I loved you last time we spoke.
Tell your friends you love them because you never know what tomorrow holds.
Sad beyond words… had the pleasure and z’chus to know Avi since he was a young kid. Never once saw him angry… or even to hear from him an unkind about someone. Huge heart, huge giving loving individual. It’s something I can’t even process. Avi was like a malach, an angel here in this often tough physical world. We’d often bump into each other at one of the many kosher restaurants here in south Florida – and he always had a bunch of laughs to share. The neshama lives forever and in some deep mysterious way, he’s with us still,… Read more »
