More than 200 women from across Australia gathered in the New South Wales village of Jamberoo this past weekend for an annual convention dedicated to strengthening Judaism and family life.
Sponsored this year by the Chabad-Lubavitch Women’s Organization in Sydney, the meeting featured workshops exploring the prevalence of family-based violence, the special responsibility of a woman in a Jewish home, and strategies for successful parenting.
The women also engaged in Torah study sessions focusing on the future redemption and an analysis of a Chassidic discourse.
