On a warm Georgian summer night, a bustling crowd of over 100 people showed up in Sandy Springs Atlanta for the CHYE “Huddle” Business Networking event – a special seminar for men and women that provided Inspiration, Mentoring and Networking.
Hosted by Congregation Beth Tefilla at the Atlanta LifeTime Work Center, the event was packed with attendees from across greater Atlanta.
Rabbi Yehoshua Werde of CHYE, Co-host of the event, explained that “We wanted to reach both the young people just starting out, and the older people who feel they have more to learn. Our mission at Huddle is to help the community capitalize on business opportunities,” he said.
The evening began with a stirring keynote address delivered by Jay Davis, Chairman and CEO of National Distributing Company, and moderated by Dovi Barber. Mr. David spoke about the importance of having a great support network, having someone to believe in you, how challenges bring out the best in you.
The talk was followed by mentor exchange roundtables. Tables were set up around the room, each one featuring a different industry leader who answered questions related to a specific area of expertise:
Real Estate Investing – Herschel Kessler
Entrepreneur vs Employee- Michael Siegel
Reinventing the Sales Process- David Kraitzick
Business Strategy – Ian Ratner
How to Find and Retain Great Talent- Taryn Solomon
Funding David Coxon
“Working with Yehoshua from CHYE makes the entire event go smoothly. What an incredible resource for communities,” said Rabbi Isser New.
Special thanks to the event committee led by Naftali Zakon, Rabbi Isser New, Shmuly Wolff, and Sara Lieberow.
