Crown Heights activist Yosef Hershkop received an award on Friday for his dedication to the community.
Hershkop, who manages Kamin Health Urgent Care center in Crown Heights, was one of several individuals awarded by Assemblywoman Diana Richardson for his assistance to the community during the covid 19 pandemic.
Aside from his work running the Kamin Urgent Care Center on Kingston Avenue, Hershkop was praised for assisting seniors in the neighborhood during the pandemic, delivering food to buildings with many senior residents during the lockdown.
Hershkop’s award “gives me such great pride to present,” the Assemblywoman said, “because this is a very diverse community in which all partners step in to ensure that all residents have their needs met.”
Not only did Kamin Health provide COVID testing for all during the pandemic, Assemblywoman Richardson said, most notably they provided testing at home for those who were feeling ill.
Kamin Health has been active in providing for the community’s health needs, including providing emergency medical care, convenient COVID testing, and health care for students from out of town.

…be worthy of the same honor she rightfully bestowed on R. Hershkop!
Sad to have to point this out, but here she is yet again at another “photo op w/Jews.” That has been the extent of what she does specifically “for” the Yidden of this community, r”l. We are fools if we keep reelecting her.
Glad to see R. Hershkop honored, though.
Yosef is the best. Always there to help anyone in CH.
Yossi You are an amazing person keep up the good work. One of your biggest fans.
