Should a person be forced to conform to community standards or be condemned for living outside of the box? Can you help a person who has a problem but is not interested in seeking help? Is there a solution to a marriage lacking intimacy?
These among other questions will be the subject of tonight’s episode of “MyLife: Chassidus Applied,” a weekly webcast on COLlive.com produced by the Meaningful Life Center and presented by Rabbi Simon Jacobson.
“After over two centuries of mesiras nefesh of the Rebbeim for Chassidus and Chassidim,” declared Rabbi Jacobson, “the time has come to reclaim the most precious stone of the crown given to us to both prevent problems and to heal from any that come our way.”
The broadcast answers people’s questions in simple, clear language while being heavily sourced. Each episode is jam-packed with eye-opening advice from the Rabbeim, gleaned from uncovering surprising gems in their letters, sichos and maamorim that address our personal issues with disarming relevance.
Topics to be addressed in this hour-long broadcast include:
· Individuality vs. conformity: Should we strive to conform to community standards or is it ok to be out-of-the-box?
· Can you help someone who doesn’t want to be helped?
· How to deal with a spouse who is uninterested in intimacy
· When can a marriage be called hopeless?
· How to bring joy into an unhappy life

Thank you Rabbi !
An incredible way to use modern technology for kedusha….. besides being a tremendous source of nachas to the Rebbe.
Thank you for bringing chssidus down in a tangible manner
Talking about mashpios, I just want to mention, there is a site-
findamashpia.info with a list of excellent mashpios who after being recommended agreed to be on the list with their times of availability . PLEASE TAKE ADVANTAGE!
Thank you Rabbi Jacobson, for a super inspiring class!!!!

One letter could have been written by me. I do not see a clear solution but I see that contrary to what my spouse says, I am not only “normal” but correct 100%. The pain and frustration is all there
You are saving lives. Your advice is priceless. We need more of you and the same. Please keep it up!!
A real need and so good to hear!
Rabbi Jacobson
thank you for rejuvenating our lives
Rabbi Jacobson,
I can not tell you how important it was to me to hear the first letter of feedback you read. It proved to me on a gut level that what you spoke about last week was very real.
Their is a difrance between a mashpia and a therapist! No? Am I wrong ??
This was really incredible to watch, I gained a new appreciation for several things in which I previously had a much more superficial perspective. Looking forward to the next episode.
Rabbi Jacobson, where were you all these years. You have transformed so many lives through these important episodes. Keep up the great work,
Hatzlocha Raba
Simply indispensable advice for every couple. The best of the best. And all saturated with a chassidishe ruach.
Though we are in the deepest exile, and the Rebbe knew we will be. It took many years since gimmel Tammuz, I think that you have introduced what the rebbe wanted all along. LEADERSHIP. Not standing on the sidelines. thank you for starting this new broadcast. It is enlightening and empowering. May we be zoiche to great moshiach Now
Thank you Rabbi Jacobson! I appreciate every moment of wisdom, I could listen for hours. Every time the session is over I come away feeling “Ashreinu Ma Tov Chelkeinu” that we have Chassidus and people like Rabbi Jacobson to explain it to us.
What this series is telling me is:
YES! There are mashpiim who understand.
YES! They DO have answers.
Now we need to just go and find them.
If you’re mashpia can’t do what Simon just did, you might need a new one and maybe Simon has a referral for you.
I have found myself that depeding on the issue the Rov of Monsey is tremendous at applying chassidus to practical situations.
I have no doubt there are more out there who can do it.
Just gotta put in the effort.
