Every Shliach. Every Jew. Everywhere.
36 years ago, the Rebbe shared the heartfelt plea and urgent call-to-action of ker a velt, heint—overturn the world, today!
In many ways, the world has been overturned over this past year. Shluchim, living on the frontlines from Australia to Zimbabwe, New York to Newfoundland, Yerushalayim to Yugoslavia have had their individual, communal, and global worlds literally turned upside down.
Right now, right here, it is time for all of the world to ker a velt, heint—overturn the world, today. It is time for every Shliach, every Jew, everywhere to transform the world with light, generosity, and support.
Chabad Global Giving Day is an international day of support for every Shliach everywhere and anywhere. Be it the newest community Shliach living on a shoestring budget or a massive community with a multimillion-dollar overhead, CGGD unites us all under one heaven, with one Rebbe, one mission, together uplifting our earth.
And here’s the true revolution! A group of generous philanthropists have come together to offer challenge grants, commensurate to campaign size. Shluchim have the ability to unlock grants of $100,000s for their institutions. These grants are structured to incentivize Shluchim and their communities to raise more funds from more donors in less time.
