Alpharetta’s Special Bris

Rabbi Dovid Wichnin OBM, founding Rav of K’hal Tzemach Tzedek Lubavitch in Monsey and Rosh Yeshiva of Tiferes Bachurim in Morristown, NJ, was remembered this past week in Georgia.

His great nephew and Shliach to Alpharetta, Rabbi Hirshy Minkowicz and wife Rashi named their son Dovid Nota in his memory.

Shepping nachas were the grandparents from Crown Heights: Rabbi Laime Minkowicz and wife Shoshana and Rabbi Chaim Meir Lieberman.

Rabbi Wichnin, who passed away in 1996, was an exceptional Talmid Chochom, was a beloved leader and a father figure to many and earned the respect of many rabbis and Rebbes in Monsey.

His newlywed son, R’ Nachman Dov Wichnin and wife Rochel were on hand too.

Honored guests at the Bris were the Rebbe’s secretary Rabbi Leibel Groner and Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, Vice Chair of Merkos L’Inyonei Chinuch, who were in town for the Lew-Groner wedding.

Also in attendance were Head Shliach to Georgia Rabbi Yossi New, Rabbi Ilan Feldman of Beth Jacob Congregation of Atlanta and Rabbi Shlomo Gelbtuch of the Atlanta Kollel.
