A Jewish man tried to stop three 13-year-old boys, who are not Jewish, from spraying graffiti on a construction site on Eastern Parkway between Kingston and Albany Avenues in Brooklyn’s Crown Heights area on Tuesday.
When the three boys walked away and the Jewish man followed them, one of the youths yelled out, “all Jews should die” and threaten to stab him.
It was the same line that the shooter reportedly said when he opened fire this past Shabbos at Jewish people praying at a synagogue in Pittsburgh in what was the deadliest anti-Semitic attack in US history.
They also threw a glass bottle at a second Jewish victim but missed.
According to a report, as the teens fled towards their school which is located at St John’s Pl and Albany Ave, they threw a traffic cone at the second victim, hitting him and causing injury. They also spit at a third Jewish woman.
Police and Shmira volunteers managed to apprehend them and bring them back to the precinct.
“We are treating it as a possible hate crime,” a police official told COLlive.com. “Two of the kids were given truancies for not being in school. The third youth will be charged with attempted assault and menacing. Hate crimes will be investigating.”
A Security Safety Alert has been issued in Crown Heights by Shomrim organization.
For the past week, there have been an increase in assaults against Jewish residents in our community. Shomrim asks everyone to stay alert.

All the cops I see in our neighborhood are either standing in groups completely distracted or sitting in idling cars on their phones/eating/chilling/even sleeping. They will “investigate” these youth and the “friendly” DA Gonzalez wont charge them with a hate crime like he didn’t initially in Boro Park where a Satmar was attacked despite more political weight than CH. Don’t rely on the NYPD.

I know many may disagree or not be able to due to the cost the government sets up, but in light of the Brooklyn President saying “bring your guns to places of worship”, more Jews should go the legal rout of submitting an application for firearm ownership and carry licenses.
