Purim was definitely experienced in its fullest glory this year at Aliya in Crown Heights.
The tone was set first night when Aliya filled up for 2 consecutive Megillah readings. A lavish buffet was served after the first reading and Mordechai Freidman played some great music. A group of Aliya members then took a ride in a limousine to the 5 towns to visit Jewish homes and raise needed funds for Aliya.
Not expecting our members to rise at the crack of dawn on Purim morning we began our Purim day activities at 3pm. First there was a limo ride around Crown Heights with blaring music for our members to to liven up the streets and bring Purim joy to all. After the fun filled ride we came to the Feiglin home for a 4pm Megillah reading and a delicious Seuda prepared by Rebetzin Feiglin.
The Seudah was served and the Kol Dodi band was the entertainment for the evening. Music kept the night alive and energized ending the festive meal with a lively dance. Following the meal we took our joy once again to the streets to bring Aliya joy and energy to other Purim Seudas around the town. We will defiantly not be forgotten by many families for a very long time.
