The family of Ariel Rav-noy obm, a Shliach in Los Angeles who passed away 6 years ago, is reaching out to ask the public to join them in doing 36,000 good deeds.
Rabbi Rav-noy was a beloved Shliach and father of 7 who passed away in 2015 at the young age of 36.
In honor of his 6th yartzeit on 8 Shvat, the Rav-noy family has joined together on a mission to reach 36,000 good deeds in his honor.
“We reached out to all our friends and family, and now we want to make it as powerful and impactful as possible, by passing it on to the rest of the world,” Ariel’s nephew told COLlive.
“Last year, when we launched this campaign for Ariel’s fifth yartzeit, over 8,500 good deeds were sent in,” he said. “I have never seen his children smile that big, it gave them life. Thank you so much for all that you did and will keep doing.”
What can you do to make the world a brighter place?
What good deed or hachlota can you take on?
It can be as easy as saying good morning or thank you to someone. Or do something as simple as reciting the modeh ani.
