A flight from Greece to Tel Aviv has landed safely at Ben Gurion Airport after declaring an emergency, reportedly due to a landing gear malfunction.
The Arkia-operated Airbus A320, traveling from Rhodes with 160 passengers on board, was seen in footage touching down with all wheels fully deployed.
The aircraft made three landing attempts before a successful touchdown. During the incident, all takeoffs and landings at the airport were temporarily suspended as emergency crews positioned themselves on the runway.
Thankfully, no injuries were reported.
