Fans of Chabad.org’s Itche Kadoozie Show will be celebrating the release of an episode that was one year in the making.
Its creator, Dovid Taub, released Parts I and II of the Passover Mini-Series last spring when production of the show was temporarily halted as Taub moved back from London, UK to the United States.
The show already returned from its hiatus last month with a brand new Purim special but what seems to be even more exciting to fans is that they will finally see the final episode of the Passover mini-series that started a year ago.
“The Passover mini-series is a project that spans one year, five cities and three continents,” said Taub.
“The scripts were written in Crown Heights during Kinus Hashluchim 5770. They were shot in my old studio in Chicago, the first two episodes were edited in London, the final episode was edited in my new production facility in Pittsburgh, and the 3-D modeling for the entire interior and exterior of the Ira and Edna Bernstein Jewish Community Center was done in Melbourne, Australia.”
The 3-D model created by by Yitz Faigenbaum allowed the characters to move more freely through the building and also to shoot them from different camera angles.
“Until now, Itche’s shul was really just a composite of different background images. This is the first time the shul existed as one complete and contiguous building, albeit virtually.”
Taub is currently working on a new project involving the Itche Kadoozie cast of characters which will focus on daily practices and rituals of Jewish life.
