A widow from the Anash community has heroically been raising her large family alone since the tragic passing of her husband several years ago. She is marrying off her orphaned child in a couple of weeks.
Being a sole provider for her children’s physical, emotional and unique medical needs is an overwhelming struggle in ordinary times. Funding a wedding is an absolute impossibility that is causing her a tremendous amount of stress. Instead of looking forward to her child’s wedding, the tension and fear is turning the simcha into another chapter of her family’s tragedy.
She has turned to me for assistance, and after looking into the situation, there was no other option but giving her my commitment to provide the resources needed for the wedding.
However, my ability to stand behind this commitment is completely dependent on the generous response of Anash around the world.
I urge you to do all you can to enable this orphaned family to attend the wedding with the joy and peace of mind they so deserve.
