A newborn baby boy brings lots of joy.
Itzik and Esti Bloy, both preschool teachers in the Chabad educational institutions in Kiryat Gat, were ecstatic when they had a boy this past Friday.
Even more happy were their 8 daughters, who range in age from 2 to 14.
Mrs. Bloy said that her older daughters have been praying every Friday night, after candle lighting for Shabbos, for a boy to be born.
“The prayers sure helped, and the excitement is immense in our home,” Mrs. Bloy said about the newborn who weighs 7.9 pounds.
She noted that last week’s parshah in the Torah was Beshalach which in Hebrew shared the letters with the words “send a son” (בשלח – בן שלח).
For the father, on the other hand, the joy he felt was the same as with the birth of his previous children.
“The gender of the baby doesn’t really make a difference to me,” Itzik Bloy commented. “Whatever comes, comes. But I have seen the intensified joy among our girls and even in our shul.”
The mother asked to thank the Kaplan hospital and the medical staff in the labor division “for their good, supportive and sympathetic service.”
6 babies at a time when Moshiach comes? Where does it say that?

…and if they gave birth to a girl, they would have pointed out that b’shalach is “bas shalach” instead of “ben shalach.” be happy with the birth of a newborn, but don’t try to use pesukim to show that your son’s birth was predicted in chumash.
Mazel tov lots of nachas

Mazal Tov! hope everyone is healthy!
