BRRRR…
The cold of this winter is unlike anything we’ve felt in years. And instinctively, we respond. We turn up the heat, bundle up in layers, sip hot cocoa, and enjoy a warm bowl of soup that heats us from within. When the world outside feels harsh and unwelcoming, we retreat to the comfort of home, choosing warmth while the storm rages on.
This year at Bnos Chomesh, our guiding theme is Varemeh Chassidishe Lichtikeit—Chassidishe warmth and light.
Within the warmth of our walls, students experience meaningful learning infused with kindness, care, and genuine attention. Our devoted staff creates an environment where every girl feels seen and supported whether through small gestures or significant ones alike. An extension on a project when it’s needed, an added challenge for a student ready to stretch, inspiring Bnos Chabad programs, and yes, even a cup of hot cocoa on a cold winter day.
At Bnos Chomesh, our students know that their personal goals b’gashmiyus u’v’ruchniyus are our goals too. They know that the staff will go the extra mile to help them succeed, grow, and believe in themselves. This is chinuch as it was meant to be, warm, personal, and rooted in care.
Today, Bnos Chomesh is holding its annual Charidy campaign to support our Scholarship Fund. This fund allows more girls to experience the warmth, stability, and light that define Bnos Chomesh. And perhaps there could not be a more fitting backdrop than the weather outside.
As you look out at the snow and wind, think about the blessing of a warm, safe home. Then think about the girls who will be able to benefit from the warm environment of Bnos Chomesh and become our partner in their chinuch.

Thank you Dina for all your years of dedication in helping our girls to enjoy and celebrate the light and joy of yiddishkeit and recently in your work with Bnos Chomesh which has helped to give girls the individual attention that they need and deserve to thrive and excell.
May you and the school continue to grow from, strength to strength.
