What Hillel Fuld wrote:
I’m gonna make a prediction right now. Actually, I’m going to make another prediction.
On October 5th, 2023, I predicted that something big was about to happen and Israel would be at the center of it.
How did I know? Am I a prophet? No. But I pay close attention to geopolitics and the state of the world. Things were reaching a boiling point and it was clear things were about to explode.
And now I want to make another prediction. It’s not a good one. Not at all. It’s a terrible one.
Antisemitism has reached a point of no return. Hundreds of thousands of Jew haters marching through the streets of Western countries, disguising themselves as human rights activists who care about Gaza, is a daily occurrence.
Mass propaganda across social and legacy media, convincing millions of ignorant people that Jews are literally the new Nazis, has become the new normal. They’re being told we’re assassinating babies with snipers, intentionally starving children, and dropping bombs on people trying to get aid.
Jews are being assaulted on the streets of New York, London, Los Angeles, Sydney, Montreal, and the list just goes on and on. I don’t care what anyone says, what we are seeing now is Germany 1935 level antisemitism and it’s getting worse by the day. Jews in Gaza are being tortured and forced to dig their own grave and the world is silent. The rapists of 10/7 are literally being rewarded for murdering Jews. Western countries are rewarding them with a state.
So far, that’s not a prediction. That’s reality.
Now think… If you were some random person in the West who can’t point to Israel on a map and you’re being told day in, day out that Israel is doing the things mentioned above…
Imagine you’re being told that Jews did 9/11 and that Jews control your life. Imagine you’re being told that Netanyahu is Hitler and he is the leader of the Jews.
Just watch one episode of Candace Owens, which millions of people watch. Pure Jew hatred.
Imagine being told that random musicians and artists are being canceled because of the Jews.
Imagine being told that Jews are hurting children and that Jeffrey Epstein did what he did because he was Jewish. So did Harvey Weinstein.
What would you do if those things were hammered into your brain all day, every day?
Well, for starters, I’d do whatever I can politically and diplomatically to restrain the Jews. Like, for example, I’d elect a mayor in a city where there are many Jews who despises Jews. He’s gonna win. He will.
I’d do whatever I can to make sure that all the Jewish organizations out there will be outlawed because they are bringing chaos to the streets of America.
I’d outlaw AIPAC.
I’d stop letting Jews into positions of power, whether in the political world, the sports world (Did you hear what happened to Deni Avdija last week? Google it), the entertainment world, or any other world in which the Jews can seize more control.
But I wouldn’t stop there. If I were told over and over that Jews in 2025 are the new Nazis and we are taking over the world, I’d stop it at all costs.
Here’s my prediction: A very, VERY large-scale attack on Jews is about to happen.
I don’t know if it’ll happen in Europe, Australia, or in the United States (If I had to guess, I guess that it’ll happen in the US), but there are literally millions of brainwashed people walking the planet thinking that Jews are the manifestation of evil in the world.
All it takes is one.
I am telling you right now, I think it’ll happen in less than a month from now. I’m not talking about some Jew being harassed or assaulted. I’m also not talking about a synagogue being vandalized. I am talking about a large-scale, well-coordinated terrorist attack on a very central Jewish location, somewhere where lots of Jews gather.
I hope I’m wrong, but sadly, I don’t think I am.
This attack will be the straw that breaks the camel’s back and a huge number of Jews will make Aliyah.
This attack won’t be an isolated event. It’ll open the gates of hell for Jews outside Israel. Jewish homes will be marked. Jewish businesses shut down. Jewish professionals fired from their jobs. All of that at scale!
After this attack, antisemitism will become all but institutionalized. The Democratic Party will fight hard to boycott Israel and they’ll have support from countless countries around the world, which will empower them to make Jew hatred a real policy of the party. Jews will absolutely no longer be able to leave their house safely.
Some Jews will still convince themselves that they’re safe and that there’s nothing to worry about. Those Jews will sadly learn the hard way how much they are hated. Many Jews, I don’t know if it’s hundreds of thousands or millions, will come to Israel out of fear. They will start a new life here.
The fact is, antisemitism has reached levels we have not seen since the Holocaust. I’m not referring only to Hamas. I’m talking about Jew hatred in the Western world. It’s getting very scary. Jew hatred is literally making otherwise smart people dumb. They believe things no normal person would believe. Things that are incredibly easy to debunk but they don’t bother.
The whole “I’m anti Zionist, not antisemitic” lie is no longer necessary. Podcasters are openly praising Hitler and no one cares. So are artists. It’s widespread and it’s mainstream. Like I said, I truly hope I’m wrong but I don’t think I am.
All I can say to my brothers and sisters around the world, look around you at all times. Pay close attention to your surroundings and if you notice something off, report it immediately. It is not an exaggeration to say that there are now millions of people around the world who want to see a Holocaust 2.0.
Sorry to be an alarmist but I feel this in my bones. The Jew hatred around the world is about to lead to disaster. All we can do is pay attention and pray. That’s what I’ll do, pray.
G-d, I hope I’m wrong.
This photo was taken today. Not in Gaza. Not in Syria. Not in Iran. In Sydney, Australia. I give it one month.
I’m gonna make a prediction right now.
Actually, I’m going to make another prediction.
On October 5th, 2023, I predicted that something big was about to happen and Israel would be at the center of it.

THE RESPONSE
Rabbi Anchelle Perl, Director of Chabad Mineola on Long Island in New York, responds to Fuld’s prediction based on the lens of the Rebbe. He calls it “Reframing the Narrative of Fear with the Vision of Redemption.”
In a recent commentary, Hillel Fuld voiced a legitimate concern: Antisemitism is surging across the globe, anti-Israel propaganda is intensifying, and Jewish communities must stay alert. His message, though well-intentioned, paints a picture of inevitable doom—a tidal wave of hatred against which Jews are powerless.
But that narrative, while grounded in observable trends, is fundamentally flawed. Not because it denies reality, but because it denies the Jewish mission.
The Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, never downplayed the dangers of antisemitism. He simply refused to give hatred the starring role in the Jewish story. The Rebbe’s approach was not about ignoring threats; it was about defeating them—by overwhelming them with light, clarity, and moral leadership. His message was bold and counter-cultural: Jewish survival has never been about fear. It has always been about purpose.
1. Antisemitism is Not the Jewish Narrative — Divine Purpose Is
The Rebbe taught that Jews are not here to survive antisemitism; we are here to transform the world with G-dliness. When confronted with darkness, the Rebbe’s response was simple: light a candle. And then light another. Torah, mitzvot, acts of kindness, and public displays of Jewish life are not symbolic gestures—they are the most potent forms of resistance. The solution is not to retreat but to advance—proudly, visibly, unapologetically.
2. Rejecting the “1935 Germany” Mindset
Comparisons between today’s antisemitism and Nazi Germany are misleading and disempowering. The Rebbe firmly rejected such parallels. After the Holocaust, with Divine help, Jews have built thriving communities, established schools, and created an unprecedented global Jewish infrastructure. To view ourselves as victims in hiding is to betray the miracle of Jewish resilience. The mindset of doom feeds the very forces we seek to overcome.
3. Defeating Darkness Through Goodness and Kindness
The Rebbe’s strategy was spiritual, yet profoundly practical: overwhelm the negativity with goodness. Every mitzvah, every tefillin laid, every Shabbat candle lit, every act of kindness performed in public is a blow against the forces of hatred. This is not idealism. It’s an actionable blueprint for transforming society.
4. Jewish Pride is the Answer to Jewish Fear
Fear leads to hiding. Pride leads to influence. The Rebbe taught that when Jews wear their kippah with confidence, build public menorahs, and engage the world with dignity, they command respect. The antidote to antisemitism is not invisibility—it is visible, vibrant Jewish identity. The world respects those who respect themselves.
Perhaps the Rebbe’s most radical teaching was that redemption is not a distant dream. It is our personal responsibility. Through acts of goodness and kindness, we tip the cosmic scales towards a world of peace and Divine revelation. Predictions of doom sap our energy. The Rebbe demanded action, not paralysis.
5. We Can’t Afford to Feed the Narrative of Fear
The tone of Fuld’s warning is drenched in hopelessness—as if Jewish survival hinges on the mercy of an increasingly hostile world. That is not the Jewish way. Our destiny is not in the hands of antisemites. It is in our hands, through our actions.
We can either succumb to fear or rise with purpose. The Rebbe taught us that the world was created to become a dwelling place for G-d. Our task is to make that vision a reality—not by hiding, not by lamenting, but by living as proud, active Jews who bring light wherever we go.
The question is not whether antisemitism exists. It does. The question is: How will we respond? Fear is not a strategy. Purpose is. And now is the time to act.
Thank you!! This reframe is very important!!
I saw his post today, and couldn’t even get through the whole thing. It was so doom filled and depressing.
And I knew in my whole being that it is NOT the Rebbe’s way, it is NOT our way, it is NOT the Jewish way!!!
Thank you Rabbi Perl for articulating this. We are so lucky to have the Rebbe’s lens to view the world we live in.
May we see the geulah haamitis vehashleima immediately.
“I knew in my whole being that it is NOT the Rebbe’s way”
Since when was Hillel Fuld speaking in the Rebbe’s name?
Obviously he wasn’t. But I knew that his thoughts weren’t for me. I prefer the Rebbe’s take on life and the world around us.
I’m happy I made Aliya. The Rebbe also said the Holocaust could happen in an instant in America. One day you’ll be living in the United States of Islam. America is only almost 250 years old. That’s not that long in the scheme of things. Come live in the Promised Land and do Mitzvot here. We need you. 🇮🇱❤️

Thank you Rabbi Perl! We are not doing the world any favors by keeping the besuras hageula a secret. Kudos for writing this up. May it be shared far and wide!
In my opinion, the title of the article should be Rabbi Perl’s words instead. “Reframing the Narrative of Fear with the Vision of Redemption.”
Otherwise you are giving too much weight and credence to Fuld’s words. Please reconsider.
The title matters
I don’t think the entire hillel field article needed to be quoted in full. A short 2 sentence summary would have sufficed. Who is he anyway that we all need to read his entire screed?
משיח נאו!
יהודים מעל הטבע
ישראל בטח בהשם, עזרם ומגינם הוא!
The Rebbe taught us that its the opposite of a Mtzvah to frighten Yidden
But we can’t ignore the reality
Your clearly not too bright if u didnt notice him writing multiple times that we can’t be naive
Yes Jew hatred has reached shocking levels Yes we cannot trust mamdani and need to be careful of our surroundings But where in the past antisemitism came from governments, it now comes from lowlife thugs Yes there are many of them, those dangerous lunatics But their power is only in their numbers, not in their positions or intellect We need to be Moshiach minded, and SEE the improvements to our world, that will bring more miracles and improvements to our world. The main bulk of smart people in our world, leaders, are going to try to protect Jews. That is… Read more »
“Living in Israel to be closer to Hashem is certainly something holy that will bring Moshiach”
I wouldn’t use “certainly” here.
I don’t agree with the negativity of Hillel
Fuld precise prediction,
But, he is correct regarding the state of the western world , and it is terrifying.
Rabbi Perl, just because the Rebbe said something , does not mean it applies today unfortunately .
The irony of Mr Fuld posting his article on the 20 year anniversary of the Israeli government uprooting, destroying and killing the souls of 21 Jewish communities is amazing. Find another country in the world since the holocaust that has executed such anti semitic policies as targeting 21 Jewish communities for eviction and making it a Jew free zone???!!!
The most Jews killed in one day since the holocaust happened in Israel – the country he says everyone should run to for safety.
The Rebbe said the ‘land’ of Israel is the safest in the world and has divine protection.
The Rebbe’s words are teaching Torah and applying it to our lives. Therefore his teachings are eternal.
How do you know this 1000 percent
That the Rebbe’s words are eternal?
I don’t feel happy saying this
But we haven’t heard from the Rebbe in over 30 years
Unless you are a tzaddik
We don’t know what the Rebbe is thinking and saying now
For one, the rebbe regarded the frierdiker Rebbes words as eternal and literal, many years after yud shevat
The Rebbe always spoke from a Torah perspective, Torah is eternal.
And going to be.
I’m not the biggest fan of Hillel and I don’t follow him in social media. I do however recognize that he has a large following and by and large is huge positive influence on yiddin and an overall kiddush hashem. I also note he lost a brother to terrorism and is blacklisted from Australia for pretty much being Jewish and speaking out.
I find it ironic that a Rabbi in Long Island is lecturing an American jew who with the ultimate mesiras nefesh now lives in Eretz Yisroel.
Rabbi Perl runs an incredible operation in Long Island, fulfilling the Golus mission of making *here* into Eretz Yisroel.
Rabbi Perl did not, G-d forbid, forsake the Jews of chutz laaretz and flee to Eretz Yisroel. He remained where G-d placed him, until G-d will bring him to Eretz Yisroel with the Geulah.
Rabbi Perl has every right to lecture a fear-monger and correct the mistaken ideology that Jews must mass-migrate to Eretz Yisroel for protection before Moshiach comes.
Jews don’t run, Jews don’t flee.
Jews have a mission in Long Island and everywhere else they were placed.
You said it right with his “Golus Mission”.
Most of klal yisroel today live in Eretz Yisroel. You can continue following your golus mission or join us in our Geula mission. We are doing whatever we can to make you ascent to Eretz Yisroel easier. Now is the time.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but until Moshiach comes, we’re all in Golus together. Golus was brought upon us by G-d because of our sins, and it will only be ended by G-d, once we’ve completed our Golus mission. Those who believe they can escape Golus by fleeing to Eretz Yisroel are, in truth, in the deepest, darkest Golus of all. Even the minyan at the kosel says Read more »
Your handle is the outlook of the miraglim ה ישמור. Eretz Yisroel is dark?!? No decent Jew speaks badly about Hashem’s land.
The Rebbe was not C”V speaking badly about Eretz Yisroel, he was criticizing those who proclaimed 1948 as אתחלתא דגאולה. At this point we are way past that. The Rebbe described our era as kolu kol hakitzin and even yimos hamoshiach!
You, my friend, should learn more from Rebbe Raayatz: לעותר לתשובה לאלתר לגאולה
My friend, you have a lot to learn from the Rebbe Rashab, Rebbe Rayatz and Rebbe on the topic of Eretz Yisroel. You echo the Maapilim, who thought to counter the Meraglim by going up to Eretz Yisroel before Hashem decided to bring in the Yidden. We all know theory fate. Throughout all the years, the Rebbe insisted that our current avoda is to make *here* Eretz Yisroel, wherever a Jew may find himself. Eretz Yisroel is a part of the *dark* golus. The greatest darkness is when darkness is mistaken for light, when golus is mistaken for geula. The… Read more »
This guy has been an alarmist forever. It’s nonsense. Thank you Rabbi Perl for your wise response. If you read Meir Kahane’s books, he describes shocking antisemitic incidents plaguing American Jewry, warning that these were signs an imminent Holocaust, G-d forbid. What’s striking is how perfectly his descriptions fit our situation today. It sounds like he wrote them this morning. And that’s exactly the point. It proves Kahane was wrong: The very same antisemitic troubles he highlighted in the 70s are happening now, yet none of his horrific predictions came true. The Jewish Nation continues to grow and prosper. M.… Read more »
Same mentality for some before the Holocaust :” all is good nothing to worry life is beautiful “ Sir you just justified the statement from K.Marx about religion and it’s sad 😔
I didn’t say all is good, but the answer tk the current situation is not fleeing or fear-mongering.
The situation is not at all comparable to pre-Holocaust Germany. It’s comparable to 60s Crown Heights, when all but the Rebbe sounded the alarm to flee in the face of impending catastrophe. When we see the community flourshing today among its neighbors, we see who was right.
This is not to say we haven’t had painful incidents, but has any city escaped pain? The only solution to erasing all pain is Moshiach, not Florida.
Mr. Fuld never implied that it’s not valuable or important to practice Jewish pride and do mitzvahs. He is simply pointing out that just like the October 7th catastrophy (which apparently Jewish pride and mitzvahs did not prevent), the current state of the world as he sees it is giving signs but something bad might be around the corner. Rabbi Pearl seems to be focusing on the emotional reaction to a set of facts instead of addressing the (uncomfortable) facts themselves.
A Yid has to be aware but not go around giving predictions c”v of this kind
May we have revealed good news NOW and may the enemies of Am Yisroel
be no more
In other words ‘bury your heads in the sand’ & pretend all is well.
Who do you think created the
Satan?’ Hashem did! Go complain to him to take this idea of our speech gives power to the satan,
It’s hashems doing!
Hillel is right: antisemitism is growing, and we have to be vigilant. We can’t be the ostrich who puts his head in the sand. We should take all the necessary precautions, spiritually as well as materially. Be physically strong. Learn martial arts. For those who live in a free state, carry a weapon. Elect Republicans who will fight this scourge. At the same time, we have to spread goodness and kindness.
Catastrophizing aside, if hundreds of thousands or millions of Jews make aliyah, well extend sovereignty over Judea and Samaria easily and grow the Jewish people much more than otherwise expected, which is a lot by itself.
We’ll be strong one way or the other.
I would just add that the Rebbe encourages us to publicize and teach mankind the 7 noahide laws.that can make a big difference on the world
email them to everyone
send them to the leaders of your cities
Thank you for appropriately using the present tense
I’m actually glad he made this prediction. Because now we see a sincere Jew—someone with a good heart—who unfortunately is missing just one key element: the Rebbe’s Hashkafah. He applies it maybe 50%, and this is where it leads him—a doomsday mindset. Contrast that with a Yid who does follow the Rebbe’s Hashkafah, who doesn’t obsess over antisemitism or get caught up in fear. This isn’t about judging Fuld. He’s a Jew without the guidance of Chassidus, and he doesn’t fully follow the Rebbe’s perspective—at least not lechatchilah. But let’s be honest: many of us fall into the same trap.… Read more »

You are absolutely correct 👍 but let’s not forget something, Gallus was meant to be terminated not exploited as a business
Thank you for this post, it gives an alternative view which I believe goes hand in hand with Hillel’s post. The torah tells us clearly about our days and what may transpire. Its not a secret, so it may well be time to pack up and go home before the scenarios that our neviim warned us about happen. I live in chutz la’aretz, so I will endeavour not to despair and give up hope but likewise open a file with the Aliya services to do my hishtadlut. I think both views are complimentary, though his predictions feel possible.
Does Mr Fuld know something we don’t know?
yes
Hmmm I wonder if the Jews / Rabbis of Germany said the same things!!!! It won’t happen here… we will spread love and light.. that will make them love us again… how did all that work out?!!!! Time to stop burying our heads in the sand!!! Hillel is just saying what we are all thinking/ feeling but are too afraid to acknowledge and accept !!!!
German jews were very into not sticking out for being Jewish.
Reform was started in Germany as we’re the yiddishists and haskala movement. They were most instrumental in Germany.
Jewish Pride came a long way since then through the work of the Rebbe and Chabad shluchim which intern effects to a large extent the Rest of the jewish world.
As for the original post:
Even a broken clock is right, twice a day.
Therefore?
There is a worldly saying, something like this:
“How do we know the sun is going to rise tomorrow?”
Answer: Because it happens all the time.
So, likewise, with the growing anti-Semitism that’s
going on now. Do you have to be a prophet
to predict that the sun is going to rise, and precisely
at what time?
It would save everyone a lot of reading time if you only showed the response
Thank you for writing this! I was very uncomfortable reading Hillel Fuld’s prediction. Firstly, that a frum yid gave such a negative prediction of what can happen to his own people. I feel that is against the nature of a yid which should be faith in Hashem. I understand the concept of not hiding your head in the sand, but his prediction went too far. I don’t think Jews in America are too stupid to see the similarities with 1935 Germany. But we look to a future of Moshiach. We daven and have hope and faith in Hashem. Mainly, I… Read more »

Even in sefer ovadiah in the original hebrew ovadiah talks about yemen and hamas.coming against us! Who would have thought of yemen as against israel! I have a long time, while appreciating Hilel being a zionist, I think he’s also a very narcissistic, attention seeking man who I believe is not a kind or gentle man. Maybe not in CH, but in areas like Monsey, we see it that every shul, regardless of the specific minhag, or nusach, has other yidden from other kreizen daven and learn there on a steady basis.
There is also interaction between the children of the different kehilos, in events like Lag B’omer events, and the weekly Avoa Ubabim program.
So, chevra, it’s Moshiach Tzeiten, put on your seat belts and add in spreading light to yourself, your family, neighborhood, and all the world!
While I think Hillel truly cares for his fellow Jew. This whole “influencer “ idea is so sad. The mother who gets dressed up with her kids dangling in the background to make the most “amazing “ recipe that she seductively prepares in her immaculate kitchen and beautiful kitchenware and then spends the whole day sharing the recipe only to each person that comments “recipe “. The Shluchim and couples that get into tik tok trends etc etc.

Never forget that Israel is loosing its youth to “yeridah” (emigrating from Israel) at a steady pace, secular young Israelis going to live in Berlin, in India, in Peru, etc, and alyah barely makes up for it. Antisemitism is the best thing that happens for alyah and they sometimes resort to scary tactics when numbers are down.
Someone exposed Fuld’s true agenda here
I live in Israel. I can tell you that it is growing by leaps and bounds.
At the end this was all by design. Just like Paroh’s heart was irrationally hardened, so we see now mass hatred toward us, it’s illogical. The truth is right in their face,s and they cannot see it. They are blinded, just like all our previous tormentors. As much as I want to have emunah, it’s hard. I picture previous generations, the Holocaust, Pogroms, Inquisitions…they all deeply yearned for Moshiach too. My teen kids both experienced antisemitism for the first time, and it hurts, like when will it end? Only Hashem can stop this.
I did not read the Fuld warning as anything more than a warning of the very dire situation Jewish communities face today. Perhaps he did not intend to cover the higher question of the Rebbe’s message of bringing Light into the world. HIs was a very prescient warning about what the current trends might lead to. It seems relevant to me that so much of the Chassidic community perished in the holocaust while those who foresaw the impending catastrophe and took steps to avoid it (through immigration, among other things) survived. I am no expert on the philosophy but from… Read more »
Anyone who is aware of Fuld’s approach knows of his very un-Chabad agenda in this matter.

Yes, the Rebbe was all for the positive attitude and not being afraid.
Still, he told the journalist Swados that Holocaust may happen “tomorrow morning”, chas vesholom.
I guess, we should do whatever has to be done, hope for the best – immediate revelation of Moshiach – but it is not all cakes and flowers
I was waiting for someone to post that Rebbe said a new holocaust can happen tomorrow Hashem yirachem.
We live in a time where we have an agenda and then fit the Rebbe into our own agendas. In some ways Rabbi Perl and Hilel are birds of a feather, chasing clicks and eyeballs together.
It’s a Halacha in Rambam that we’re obligated to increase the awareness and observance of the Sheva Mitzvos Bnai Noach: Rambam Hilchot Melachim u’Milchamot (Laws of Kings and Wars), Chapter 8:10–11 “Moshe Rabbeinu commanded from the mouth of God to compel all the inhabitants of the world to accept the commandments that were commanded to the descendants of Noah…” This is completely out of context. Look up the original. The Rebbe was explaining the technical process that allowed the holocaust to happen.
The Rebbe publicly expressed his view on fear-mongering enough times for it to be fully clear.

Can you please reference the context of this statement … i have lots of people asking for guidance and this is very important info to me. Thanks
Certainly the Holtzbergs, HY”D, and Rabbi Kogan, HY”D, kept the measures that Rabbi Perl suggested. So do the Lahianis, whose home was firebombed. We don’t have the geula shlaima yet. What does the Torah say about the time before the complete redemption?
For those of us not on Shlichus, would the Rebbe be against us moving to Israel??
Really struggling to know what he would advise.
Yes, the Rebbe was generally opposed to people picking up and moving to Eretz Yisroel.
The Rebbe taught that every Yid was placed where they are for a purpose, and the mitzvah of moving to Eretz Yisroel will be fulfilled when Moshiach comes.
The Rebbe always reiterated the Tzemach Tzedek’s response to his chossid who wanted to move to EY: Make *here* Eretz Yisroel. That is our purpose until Moshiach comes.
M. Shmei
This would depend on whether you are an important component of your community and whether you contribute in a significant way to its success. Seek out the advice of a mashpia!
Look on one of the recent weekly Rebbe letter’s COL posted.
The Rebbe pointed out that moving to Eretz Yisrael in no way brings Moshiach closer. Only good deeds and Ahavas Yisrael etc…
Regarding moving for other reasons – consult with your Mashpia or whomever else you’d speak to before moving places.
The grotesque glee that Fuld takes in making obscene predictions is nauseating. He’s a baal gavah who shows a tremendous lack of ahavat Yisrael. Hillel will lecture about an imminent Holocaust and then take vacations to Italy and the U.S. with his family.
There is a huge difference between vacationing outside of EY and living outside of EY.
His point is to influence others to make Aliyah.
I agree. It’s very disheartening that he seems always to either be showing what he bought, where he went, posting private messages others send to him for the public to read, last week he argued with then blocked someone because hilel said he knew what’s going on in Gaza because his sons there despite that is only confidential information the cabinet has which he’s not a part of. You clearly didn’t bother to read the article because he was basing this prediction off of historical events and the current state of affairs. This had nothing to do with dreams!
No need to go on a campaign of attack for someone you disagree with by calling him names. He sees things from a different perspective than us. We just finished Tisha B’Av and should have a more positive view of our fellow Jews
Back in the ( I think early 90’s ), Rabbi
Nissen Mangel quoted the Rebbe as saying
that something on the scale of the Holocaust
will NOT happen again. This does not negate
casualties from terrorism or the like. However,
something on such a massive level like the
Holocaust, this will never happen again.
Having mentioned that, I am compelled to ask:
Do the massive casualties of Simchas Torah
put that into question?
We are supposed to say these things even of we don’t believe them because it can change the outcome. Hilel should have thought about that but he’s too busy thinking about how to get a thread going and make more drama. The lies and distortions the bragging the showing off, it’s horrendous and I used to like him too. Very sad. Humility is not something a person can acquire when they’re too steeped in their own foolishness.
Hi are you able to give the reference/ context or confirm exactly what the Rebbe said to Rabbi Mangel or others on this topic. We are shluchim and have to guide many people afraid of an “imminent holocaust ” chas veshalom
Thank you for spreading positivity!
We do not kowtow to threats or give in to darkness.
The Rebbe taught us how to respond: with light and positivity. This is the only way. We put a finger, and Hashem lifts up the whole stone.
Hillel Fuld was not engaged in fear-mongering but rather in raising the alert and urging his fellow Jews to be vigilant. Given the current circumstances, that is hardly a misplaced caution to the House of Israel. The Rebbe never told us to ignore dangerous antisemitism, but rather, to be aware and fight with light. One candle certainly chases away the darkness — but those actions alone do not prevent attacks. If they did, Melech David and Moshe Rabbenu would never have had to wage war. Myriad rebbes and their followers would not have been murdered. The Sanzer (Klausenberger) Rebbe’s entire… Read more »
However, the Rebbe did warn of dire consequences for giving land….
The difference between i
Hillel and Shamai is that the Halachah follows Hillel in the diaspora and Shamai in the Geula. True to form, we see a suitable quote from Hillel for Chutz La’Aretz and from Shamai for Eretz Yisrael. Reluctance to transitioning to Shamai is because he didn’t have patience to stand on 1 foot. Halevai Rav Perl would mellow his (halachically correct) message with some deference to Hillel, who reflects the Yidden in the diaspora. Antebbi Mamzerani will be negated because of HaShem’s miraculous war with Amalek, but we need to take part in this multifaceted war. Yechi!
All I can tell you guys is that you’re missing out if you don’t live in Israel. The boom is real – everywhere you look you see growth: the unofficial bird of Israel is the (building) crane; buildings are sprouting out of the ground in a miraculous way. Every industry is booming, and it’s way better to be a part of it than to sit in chutz la’aretz… While it’s true that antisemitism is growing worldwide and while it’s true that we have to spread goodness and kindness, there is nothing like living in Eretz Yisroel where instead of Xmas… Read more »
The Rebbe Rashab and Rebbe predicted and strongly warned of the negative results of what you are pushing.
We will fulfill the mitzvah of living in Eretz Yisroel when Moshiach comes. Now, this encouragement causes more bad than good, and takes away from the important avoda of pre-Geula.
M. Shmei
It’s all very well to support ‘positivity” but don’t let it blind you to reality. There have already been large-scale attacks and attempts against Jews around the world. To name just a few that spring to mind, setting fire to a Melbourne Shule while congregants were inside, a crowd storming a Russian transport station looking for Jews, the Amsterdam riots, the storming of NYC central railway station.
So far they haven’t claimed many lives but attackers are getting more and more ambitious and vicious, and it’s only a matter of time before one of the attempts succeeds.
Thank you Rabbi Pearl
Classic move to just quote the Rebbe to disprove something. But if you’re not Chabad: believing everything the Rebbe said, then at best the ‘reframe’ expressed here naturally resonates with you. More likely, you’ll find it cute but still will judge the situation logically.
Even when it comes to very serious matters, there’s a language that is appropriate me inappropriate. Mr. Fuld uses language that is inappropriate.
For example, a doctor might give you a very serious diagnosis, and suggest a plan of action. It might be the RISKS of what MIGHT happen you don’t follow his advice.
WE DON’T VERBALIZE THAT BAD THINGS WILL C”V HAPPEN.
I dont get why anyone would waste time responding to this when chatgpt can do just as good of a job is 10 seconds. Heres my response We Are Not Afraid: A Response to the Fear-Mongering About Jewish Doom Someone sent around a dramatic article filled with fear, doom, and worst-case predictions about antisemitism and the future of the Jewish People. Let’s be very clear. Yes, antisemitism exists. Yes, it’s disturbing and must be fought with strength, unity, and pride. But let’s not fall into the trap of fear-mongering or paranoia. The author of that article didn’t “predict” anything. He… Read more »
Think positive, but prepare for the worst. If you live under very left/Muslim government plan on moving (Europe, Canada, Australia). Yes, it’s hard, but thinks hard about what happened to Jews in Europe in 1935. If you live in US be aware of your surroundings and practice your 2nd amendment right under the US constitution buy a gun!
spend a little time online if you think hillel is worng
(I think he is wrong on the part that Israel is any safer…
probably the best soulution is to become freinds with suni muslims and move to uae or soudi)
I loved this artical, Well written, and to the point!
