A Poem on Breathing and Being

Who says you have to live your life
Be moving, doing and all?
From what I see
You don’t have to be
Working till you fall
All that matters is that you’re here
That you’re smiling and you’re singing
You’re growing too
You’re uniquely you
You’re breathing and you’re being
Who ever said you have to
Change the world to be complete?
From what I see
You just should be
So kind and never cheat
A meaningful life isn’t linear
It takes time to work and grow
And it’s okay
To sometimes say
“I’ll just wait till tomorrow”
Cause all that matters is that you’re here
you’re considerate and you’re thinking
You’re breathing and you’re being
So take a big, big BIG deep breathe
And take a little rest
Cause it’s alright
To lose a fight
You don’t HAVE to be the best
And yes, at times, life’s so so hard
You can’t take another second
And on those days
Just take a break!
The world won’t end, I reckon
In the end, what matters is that you’re here
That you’re flying! you’re not sinking!
You’re trying too
You’re kind to you
You’re breathing and you’re being.
