Among the incredible outpouring of support coming into Israel over the last few weeks, Chabad Naharia is especially notable.
Situated near on the northern border of Israel, Chabad Naharia and their dedicated and devoted volunteers have been non stop.
“Since this incredible mobilization, tens of thousands of soldiers were sent to the north, to protect us and our families,” Rabbi Baruch Wilhelm notes. “They are coming by the thousands, every day.”
Many soldiers dropped everything to report to duty, and the depleted resources and supplies stash has taken a noticeable toll.
“So many soldiers are without a change of clothes, without proper food and supplies, in addition to the moral and spiritual support we can offer, they literally ate without basic supplies and food!” Rabbi Wilhelm continued.
“We are heading into our 2nd Shabbat on the front lines, and while rockets sound overhead, we are committed to preparing hundreds of hot and nutritious Shabbat meals for our soldiers, and we won’t stop!”
Last week, over 10,000 hot meals were prepared and delivered, and the number of soldiers in the area has more than doubled. Help Chabad Naharia, as they prepare for yet another beautiful Shabbat with our brave soldiers.
