A woman from our Crown Heights community is facing a devastating and urgent situation.
Recently widowed, she is now struggling with the crushing weight of grief, financial hardship, and serious health challenges. Her current apartment has become unsafe and physically difficult for her to live in, yet she does not have the means to move into the more accessible home she and her husband had hoped to settle into together.
She is alone, in fragile health, and overwhelmed by the challenges she now faces.
She needs our help to get through this incredibly difficult time.
Immediate Needs:
- Urgent out-of-pocket medical and dental costs
- Overdue housing payments and essential monthly expenses
- Property taxes and homeowners insurance
To Make Her Home Livable:
- Repair water and mold damage
- Fix broken exterior stair railing
- Install safety bars in showers and other key areas
- Install interior and exterior stairlifts
- Cover moving expenses
This is someone who has been part of our community for decades—a mother, a neighbor, a friend. In her time of quiet pain, let’s show her she’s not alone.
