A new Sefer of Tanya Mevueres has been released this week, and the occasion was marked with a celebratory l’chaim in memory of its benefactor.
Rabbi Don Yoel Levy OBM, Head of OK Kosher who was a generous donor to many causes, was a longtime supporter of Machon Eliezer Yitzchok, a division of Heichal Menachem in Boro Park named for Rabbi Levy’s brother, and sponsored the printing of many of their publications of Chassidus with explanations.
Today, still within the first year since the passing of Rabbi Levy, the seventh book of Tanya with Chassidus Mevueres was published in his memory.
To mark the occasion, Rabbi Yisroel Stern and Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Kratz of Heichal Menachem joined the staff of OK Kosher in the office where Rabbi Levy did his holy work for so many years.
They presented the new Sefer to Rabbi Chaim Fogelman and Rabbi Kalman Weinfeld – members of the Vaad Hakashrus of the OK, and Rabbi Eli Lando – Executive Manager of the OK, along with many Rabbis and staff.
“It’s a very special zechus that this was done l’iluy nishmas Rabbi Levy still in the first year since his passing, as we continue Rabbi Levy’s legacy in all areas,” said Rabbi Chaim Fogelman. “One could say that at the OK, we take care of your body and your soul.”
“It was very symbolic that the book was released just a few days before Yud Tes Kislev, a day which is all about spreading Chassidus,” another participant noted.
Shkoach, and Mazal Tov! Thanks for your work
