1. Listen to the Lights
Watch this inspirational video – an English letter from the Rebbe “to all participants in public Lighting of the Chanukah Menorah in the USA.”
The new video from JEM was directed by Rabbi Yitzchak Tsap and produced by Eli Sapochkinsky.
2. Reclaim Your Flame
Giant Menorahs are lit each Chanukah at iconic sites around the world, and in the most remote, unexpected, and breathtaking locations. Wherever there is a Jew, there is a message of light. Be that light. Light that flame.
This video was produced for Lesson 6 of Great Debates in Jewish History, a course by the Rohr Jewish Learning Institute.
3. A Lesson from the Chanukah Lights
There’s an important lesson we can learn from the candles that we light each night of Chanukah. This clip is an excerpt from JEM’s new film A Children’s Chanukah Rally with the Rebbe.
4. Ultimate LED Chanukah Display
While there’s no shortage of holiday decorations this time of year, Ben Forta’s Hanukkah display is one of the most amazing DIY builds I’ve seen. While the animation seen at the beginning of the video below is interesting, to really appreciate the physical scale of this build, check out around 0:45.
You can see it on display there above a garage door, the main part of which measures 6’x12’, not including the 3’x2’ dreidels on each side. Cleverly, Forta used aluminum frames and chicken wire to support the lights, allowing it to stand up to 60 MHP winds.
From a technical standpoint though, what’s most impressive is the scale of the control system. In order to display the menorah and dreidel, it uses 3,500 individual Adafruit NeoPixels on over 100 individual strips. Processing power is provided via a Teensy, with an OctoWS2811 adapter board in order to control the huge number of menorah LEDs. A pair of Trinket Pro boards control each of the dreidels.
The main menorah display requires around 800 lines of code to animate the lighting ceremony, and the dreidels “only” require 250. This allows it to display the correct lighting sequence for each day in Hanukkah, or to loop through all the days at other times of the year.

5. New York Boys Choir – “Chanukah”
New York Boys Choir is back at it again!
One of the most refreshing and creative sounds in the Jewish music scene, under the leadership of renowned producer Yitzy Bald, the choir presented an awesome, fun-filled, and inspiring music video/audio track, entitled “Chanukah.”
In this music video, NYBC looks for a creative way to spread the message of Chanukah, that despite the darkness, that many times, seems to exist in people’s lives, we should still celebrate, dance, and be filled with pride.
Conceptualized by Yitzy Bald, and directed by Shia Fried of Vision Cinema Productions, this music video/audio clip, “Chanukah“, is sure to get you singing and dancing.
6. Lev King D – Miracle (feat. Aluf & Yuc)

Yey! Let’s do this! Light the lights and we will shew away ALL the darkness, the tiny bit that might be left of this dark and dreary Golus. May all this bring to the LIGHT of MOSHIACH
