This week’s focuses on the strange phenomenon that the laws of marriage are deduced from the story of Sarah’s death, which actually terminated her marriage.
Trying to reenact the Rebbe’s legendary approach in his work “On the Essence of Chassidus,” Jacobson explores the four answers on the above question. Then goes ahead to show how the Chassidic interpretation infused all the other four answers with a new vitality and depth.
This is a class that encompasses all dimensions of Torah study, from the simple, to the legal, to the moral and mystical; and then goes ahead to show how Chassidus infuses it all with so much more depth.
