Preparations are underway for a celebration, one of a kind.
In celebration of 40 years since the Rebbe’s miraculous recovery on Rosh Chodesh Kislev, a huge Mitzvah Tank parade is being planned.
Forty Mitzvah Tanks will parade this year on Rosh Chodesh Kislev, which coincides with the Kinus Hashluchim.
“With thousands of Shluchim in town, the parade is sure to be one of the highlights of the Kinus” organizers said.
Each Mitzvah Tank will represent another country, of which the Rebbe’s Shluchim have conquered.
The parade is being organized by the 770 Bochrim, in conjunction with the Mitzva Tank Office.
A very special thank you must be given to Rabbi Mordy Hirsch and Rabbi Moshe Schmukler, dedicated directors of the Mitzva Tank Office.
The project is being done in a complete “L’chatchile Ariber” budget. The organizers therefore ask all Anash, and Shluchim, to help participate in the costs of the parade. Click here to participate.
May we be Zoiche, that just as we saw the Rebbe watching the 40 Mitzvah Tanks parade in honor of 40 years of the Rebbe’s Nesius. May we see the Rebbe, gezunt – watching and encouraging these tanks as well. Amen.
to sponsor a tank is $500
signs $100 per tank.
speakers/music.$300 all tanks.
transportation.$1000 fro all tanks.(gas/ez pass)
I want to donate, and so so many other people. But when you want the community to help cover costs, it helps to write a clear break down of what each tank costs so that woolen know how much was spent and how much you need. Also: a good idea would be to allow families to sponsor tanks. I would definetely sponsor one for my family and maybe we’d join as well!
im sure the rebbe is so proid!!!
Wow this is amazing keep up the great work!!
Would be nice to see a full schedule of what’s happening when it’s happening where the tanks are going etc.
Thank you to all those involved!

The Rebbe himself referee to it as conquering the world etc. I think that this term can definitely be considered באופן המתקבל
Wow,
40 years since the first Kinnus!
This is amazing 🙂
Who will be the lucky country’s to get a tank.. Do they have to pay for it, or by raffle?
All I can say is let the preparations begin I am so excited about this beautiful keep up the good work
Just to point out that the banquet is Sunday night.
Will the parade be back in crown heights on time to leave to new Jersey? 4-5pm
I’m sure the tzeirei hashluchim program are a part of this parade.
Thise are the BOCHURIM (770) that will bring MOSHIACH.
Thanks M Mintz for making this happen!
What an amazing way to celebrate the 40 yr anniversary!!! Keep up the great work! Looking forward
Just donated a couple bucks;)
Wow if I remember correctly in תשמו the bochurim in 770 had 8 tanks for 8 years since לח its amazing that when it comes to 40 the bochurim are still so invigorated to make a parade of 40 TANKS!!! Amazing work.
Instead of “Each Mitzvah Tank will represent another country, of which the Rebbe’s Shluchim have conquered.”
How about using language באופן המתקבל as The Rebbe often requested?
Each Mitzvah Tank will represent another country, of which the Rebbe’s Shluchim have enlightened with Torah and mitzvos.
I would want to bring my family along to
I would definitely want to bring my balei batim, I just want know what time is I leaving and coming back?
Because there is a program for them in the jcm on Sunday..
Is there any way I can give a check?
What number tank is for China?? 🙂
Awesome idea to represent different countries
Giving the shluchim a chance to be here RC Kislev on 11 Nissan 😉
Your amazing!!! May you be zoche to allot of hatzlacha in all your endeavors, and be able to keep directing the buchrim/tankistim with the same koch and chayos and energy that you had when you started with the tanks and to continue in a way of chayol el choyil! Keep going strong with the peulas that definitely give the rebbe tons of nachas! And may we be zoche to “vehu yolichainu btank’n leartzainu bkorov mamash”!!!
Keep up the good work! Donated
Love the name
Love the idea
Love the timing
10 points!
How can I have my kids join the tanks? We are shluchim in Florida and are coming in for the kinus, I have two children in the kinus camp. Is there any way the kids can join the shluchim or is this only for shluchim? I’m ready to pay if it’s not a lot but I think that my children will gain so much for shlichus from doing mivtzoim in a tank. We once came in many years ago for Yud Alef Nissan and had the kids go they really loved it, if you are having it by the kinus… Read more »
This is a definitely a tremendous idea in honor of the Kinus as a Shliach this is the best thing we can possibly have
How can I take one of these tanks to my balei batim on Sunday?
Wow, this is very impressive not sure how this is being pulled off, and 40 Tanks! But it looks like the bochrim are well driven for it. This isn’t something which ever happened before on RC Kislev but I guess for forty years they can pull this off!
Much Hatzalacha and Gut Yom Tov!
