Excuse me, but I think you have to know what you are thinking. You are breaking up a shidduch!! Are you the girl who is in need of a shidduch? No. So don’t decide if this shidduch will work out or not. It is true that opposites attract, but it is also true that similar personalities enjoy their presences together. It all depends on the person, not on the qoute.

Sounds kinda interesting…. Reading btwn the lines…. U want their numbers? Ur 13! Listen u ain’t making a SHIDDUCH! Srry to disappoint u. Besides, u said they seem to have similar personalities….. Most of the time that doesn’t work , different personalities complement each other. Srry to mess this up, it that’s my opinion.., but If this SHIDDUCH actually works which I doubt then kol hackavod to u. Imagine, a SHIDDUCH made from the comments on col!! That itself can be an article on col;)
Ps- don’t get insulted that I don’t think it will work, C.C.

I just thought of something that is pretty far fetched, but for a supporter of ten yad, I am ready to do anything. I suggest that 10 and 12 set up a shidduch. (basically what 13 suggested.) I just need to get your contact info. just say your name and if you want, maybe your # or email, whichever suits your fancy. I can tell that you two have alot in common. You see, I read this book about how to read between the lines; basically saying how to decipher their personality from how they form their words. You two… Read more »

I know it may sound funny for a girl my age commenting and thanking ten yad for something so not for my age, but I am. Unfortunately, a few years ago, my family was undergoing a financial crisis. My father lost his job and my mother’s pay barely brought in income. It was at that time my oldest sister got engaged. My parents could barely afford wedding expenses, not to mention a beautiful shaitel! My two married brothers tried to chip in as much as they could, but they had their own families to care for. but $50 is definately… Read more »

Get together. You might end up liking each other in person and won’t have to resort to commenting on COL for stuff like this 🙂 go ten yad!

excuse me, but I think you should keep your shidduchim woes to yourself. I feel for you, though. I am also going through the same situation. But look, Hashem gives nisanyos that we cannot comprehend why we have it. After all, I am (not to brag) a masmid in the yeshiva. but we could only deal with them. So I am trying my hardest.

Beautiful Video

why are 34 couples unable to pay for their own wedding? why does this ecosystem require haves to help have-nots? why are people making weddings beyond their means? stop duplicating someone else’s party. getting married? invite 10 people, do the required rituals and mitzvos, have an intimate meaningful event, and use whatever funds to pay for rent food and upcoming hopefully good things…

yes, ten yad (and similar institutions) means well, but it’s simply perpetuating a bad style. as if the weddings we make are requirements.

go ten yad!
