Chinuch is a thriving Shlichus, with teaching and leadership opportunities opening up in Lubavitch Moisdos around the world.
As schools advertise available positions, 20 Kollel Yungeliet have stepped up to answer the call.
As participants of MEF’s Kadima L’Chinuch teacher training program, they are highlighting the importance of choosing Chinuch in a way where they will be able to create a deep impact on our children.
The training program kicked off with a powerful orientation on the topic of Chassidishe Chinuch by Rabbi Mendy Blau and Rabbi Levke Kaplan. Rabbi Blau addressed the lasting impact that a Mechanech of even the youngest children can have, as has been highlighted after the recent passing of Rabbi Yossi Wilansky A”H, a Pre1A Rebbi in Montreal, who deeply impacted many.
The Kadima L’Chinuch program is guided by the Rebbe’s Chinuch Hora’os and taught by Chassidishe Mechanchim including Rabbis Zelig Silber, Yehuda Fenton and Yanky Goldstein. Year after year, participants gain the tools needed to give the highest quality Chassidishe Chinuch to today’s students, through learning about lesson planning, student engagement and social-emotional learning.
Rabbi Kaplan notes the unique quality of the group’s participants – dedicated Kollel Yungeliet who are rising to the Rebbe’s call of strengthening the Chinuch of today’s children. Graduates of the program have taken up teaching positions around the world, and have shared how much Kadima L’Chinuch has prepared them.
“It’s so inspiring to see Yungeliet focused on the Shlichus of Chinuch, the most vital role for the future of our communities and Klal Yisroel,” shares Rabbi Zalman Shneur, Director of the Menachem Education Foundation.
MEF also thanks Rabbi Tzvi and Simmie Gellman and Rabbi Avremel and Chevy Bernstein, the generous sponsors of the Kadima L’Chinuch program.
As we mark 50 years since the Rebbe launched Mivtzah Chinuch, it is a time to focus on what needs to be done to continue to build the quality of Chinuch that the children in our Moisdos are receiving, and these 24 future Mechanchim and leaders have chosen to dive into this most important Shlichus with skill and passion.
