2 Jewish teens had their bikes stolen in a violent robbery on Monday evening in Crown Heights.
The incident occurred near Lincoln Place and Utica Ave when 2 thugs violently threw them off the bikes and threatened to shoot them.
After searching for the perpetrators, Crown Heights Shmira was able to recover the bikes and track the perps to an apartment.
The police department is investigating.

Unfortunately, these incidents will continue to happen until we stop the foolish diplomacy and sugar talk and recognize that we are at war in crown heights and physically defeat them by fighting back with brute force until they are all obliterated!!!
You can’t fight Antisemetism with racism. It will just backfire. There are plenty of criminals in the Jewish world, too. Calling for the eradication of a people is not only ignorant but dangerous. Crime is rampant in places of poverty. If you want no crime, move to a rich neighborhood.
Jewish Orthodox neighborhoods with high levels of poverty have the lowest levels of crime. Being poor is not an excuse for being a criminal. It’s not their poverty, it is their unfortunate culture and mindset.
Just keep spouting about racism when we demand a cleanup of this neighborhood so OUR sons won’t be touched.

Is there proactive safety measures the public should know about securing their bikes? I’m not taking about locks but genaral security i.e. can the be registered with the NYPD or any other tips. Also where can one learn bike safety rules as in hand signals and laws about driving in the bike lane?
Our community representatives don’t put enough pressure or focus on our security. That is the most important thing we care about. Not bike lanes. Not Citi Bikes. Not street cleaning. ALL WE WANT IS SECURITY.
A dream: The police should leave/plant bikes and scooters around the city with trackers and if stolen, the thief gets a year in prison. No questions. No bail or whatever. Just confirm it was him to be just and into prison. They’ll stop real quick after the first few get taken away. And something like this, 10 years. Done. They’ll keep the crime between themselves and that’s it
The vermin of the streets appear to have more rights than a community of law-abiding Jews.. the old story. And we are enabling this by not demanding representation, starting lawsuits, or taking serious steps to defend our community. Community leaders, what are you waiting for??
