2 Farbs at Chabad Midtown

Two Chassidic farbrengens marking Gimmel Tammuz, the Rebbe’s 16th yahrzeit, took place this week in Midtown Manhattan, New York.

The first farbrengen, at 509 Fifth Avenue, included lunch and featured guest speaker Rabbi Raleigh Resnick, Shliach to the Tri-Valley in California.

Resnick spoke about the Rebbe’s impact and shared moving stories and insights.

The farbrengen was organized by Rabbi Asher Webb, Director of The Midtown Kollel.

In the evening, the farbrengen continued at Chabad Midtown’s Plaza District branch at Fifth Avenue and 57 Street.

Attendees were held spellbound by guest speaker, Rabbi Shimon Lazaroff, Director of Chabad of Texas till 4:00a.m.

Rabbi Yehoshua Metzger, Director of Chabad Midtown thanked Rabbi Shneur Lifshitz, Shliach at Chabad 57 Street for organizing this memorable evening.
