Studies show that when sick patients and elderly feel hopeless and abandoned their chances of recovering from illness drop significantly. Whereas, when they feel cared for and loved, their breathing improves, oxygen levels rise and their recovery chances increase dramatically. To Baila and Nechama; you are heroes literally saving lives. Your actions go far beyond a kind gesture and “just doing a mitzvah”. The Torah tell us to preserve life at all costs.
