An event took place on Monday evening in Crown Heights to mark the 1st yartzeit of the beloved Mashpia Rabbi Pinchas Korf OBM.
Rabbonim, mashpiim, students, and family of R’ Pinye gathered at Oholei Torah to mark the yartzeit with sharing of memories and words of inspiration.
Speakers included Rabbi Avrohom Osdoba and Rabbi Yosef Braun – members of the Bais Din of Crown Heights, Mashpia Rabbi Yossi Paltiel, former student Lev Yakov Voskoboynik, Shliach Rabbi Avraham Sternberg, Mashpia Rabbi Nachman Schapiro, R’ Sol Rotter and Machon Lyahadus Dean Rabbi Shlomo Majeski, as well as the children of R’ Pinye.
A Siyum Hashas was done by his son, Mendel Korf.
The formal program was followed by a farbrengen.
