The elementary school class that graduated in 1989 from the Rabbinical College of Canada – Yeshiva Tomchei Temimim Lubavitch of Montreal reunited in their hometown this past weekend.
Keeping with the spirit of the Hakhel year of gathering, a reunion was organized, and the friends spent the weekend reminiscing, laughing, farbrenging, and catching up on each other’s families, jobs, and lives.
The weekend concluded with the group of childhood friends making positive resolutions for the future.
Rabbi Choni Marozov, a participant who is currently a Shliach in California, remarked, “Although our physical appearances may have changed, it was amazing to see how easily we picked up where we left off 35 years ago.”
As they said farewell after a warm weekend, “one of the Hachlotos was to make every attempt to participate in each others Simchos,” he said.
