Levi Schapiro, a Lubavitcher boy from Los Angeles, has released an album in honor of his Bar Mitzvah.
The talented young singer attends Cheder Menachem Yeshiva in Los Angeles, and comes from a family who “loves Jewish music,” his father Nuchie Schapiro told COLlive.
“Levi sings beautifully, so it was simply a fun idea that I had that he release an album for his Bar Mitzvah,” he said.
Levi has been performing from a very young age, and he sings a duet with a recording of himself at 3 years old (track 2) on the album. The album also features his duets with Mordechai Ben David (Track 11), and Moshe Storch (track 6).
He recently performed with Israeli pop singer Yishai Lapidot at CBS Studios at Chabad of the Valley’s Chanukah event. He performed last year as well, singing with superstar Jewish singer Mordechai Ben David at a concert in Los Angeles.
