Her life is shlichus, her talent is photography.
Leah Schlanger is featuring her camera and beautiful creations she captured for the Jewish Kids Got Talent contest.
“I’ve studied the many different way to take photographs,” says the 11-year-old girl whose parents run the Chabad center in Bakersfield, California. “I studied different ways to use lighting, depths of field and much more.”
“My photographs are an opportunity to teach the Jews around me about the greatness of Hashem,” she says. “I have just recently submitted some of my photographs in the local county fair and they all came in first place. I hope to continue to inspire people with my photography.”
