1,000 women and girls united Tuesday evening for an event to celebrate Yud Tes Kislev, Rosh Hashana of Chassidus, at Oholei Torah Hall in Crown Heights.
The event celebrated the Geula of the Alter Rebbe, and served to inspire participants about the ultimate Geula with Moshiach now.
The event included a beautiful art gallery, collected from talented artists in the community, and a special performance by the students of Tambourines Academy.
Guest speaker, Shliach Rabbi Mendel Kaplan of Chabad at Flamingo, Ontario, inspired participants with incredible stories of people’s experiences with the Rebbe today, inspiring all in attendance on how the Rebbe is still with us in every detail of our lives today.
Rabbi Kaplan explained that the call of the hour is to learn about Moshiach and Geulah, and spread the Rebbe’s message that Moshiach’s arrival is imminent.
The event also included a Siyum on the Tanya, and an address by Mrs. Rivka Marinovsky, who inspired the women with words coming from her heart explaining the unique shlichus of our generation to be מקבל פני משיח צדקנו.
“The Rebbe said we are the last generation of golus and the first generation of geula. Let’s trust our Rebbe’s words,” she said.
Many women took on hachlatos to learn Chassidus and the topic of Moshiach and Geula, and to go on Mivtzoim.
A raffle was held for a dollar that the Rebbe gave to Nshei Chabad.
