Over 1,000 people united in Montreal for a solidarity event in support of the country of Israel after the Hamas attacks on Simchas Torah.
A diverse crowd of young and old, Jewish people of all types and backgrounds, joined elected officials, Shluchim and community Rabbis for a meaningful evening of prayer and song.
The event was organized jointly by Chabad Houses of Quebec and was hosted at the The Montreal Torah Center.
The MC for the evening was Shliach Rabbi Getzy Markowitz. Tehillim was led by Rabbi Berel Mochkin, regional director of Chabad of Quebec / Tzach, and Chabad Rabbonim: Rabbi Dovid Banon, Dayan on the Vaad Hair, Rabbi Berel Bell, Dayan on the Vaad Hair, Rabbi Moshe Stern, Rav Tzeirei Adas, Rabbi Zushe Silberstein and Rabbi Yossi Kessler.
Inspiring addresses were given by Shluchim Rabbi Ronnie Fine and Rabbi Mendel Raskin.
