Over 100 Chabad Shluchos from across Paris and France gathered for a regional Kinus coordinated by the Missrad, an office supporting Chabad activities in the region.
The successful event was made possible thanks to the generous support of Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky, Director of Merkos 302, who coordinates the International Kinus Hashluchim and Shluchos.
“Regional Kinusim are often associated with gatherings for men,” organizers shared. “But this meeting of women is equally – if not more – crucial in strengthening the resolve and impact of the Shluchos in their sacred mission.”
Held at the elegant Manège de St Cloud hotel, the Kinus offered a much-needed opportunity for these devoted Shluchos to recharge, network, and reinvigorate their many initiatives in Jewish education and outreach throughout France.
The participants represent a broad spectrum of roles within the Chabad network – from school principals and youth leaders to kosher canteen organizers, kallah teachers, matchmakers, women’s program directors, and more. Though their responsibilities differ, they share one common goal: to use their unique talents to fulfill the vital mission of our generation—making Yiddishkeit accessible to every Jew.
While taking time away from their demanding schedules was not easy, the Shluchos expressed that the investment was more than worthwhile. They returned to their communities energized with new ideas and practical tools for the future.
The program featured a variety of engaging sessions delivered by dynamic speakers, all deeply passionate about their respective fields. Topics included strengthening family life, raising healthy and resilient children, fostering Jewish marriages, balancing personal well-being with communal obligations, and managing the multifaceted roles of a Shlucha. The sessions offered both inspiration and hands-on guidance.
During the Kinus, a heartfelt tribute was held for Mrs. Dvora Azoulay, a beloved Shlucha who passed away at a young age. Her legacy lives on through the continued efforts of her daughters and daughters-in-law, who carry forward her work.
The event was enhanced by a warm and uplifting atmosphere, high-quality musical presentations, and gourmet cuisine. As the Kinus concluded, each participant departed with renewed strength and a firm resolution to continue their Shlichus with even greater commitment until the arrival of Moshiach, may it be speedily in our days.
