Eighty five-year-old Moshe Horn from Kibbutz HaZorea was killed this morning in a ramming-stabbing-shooting terror attack at the Tishbi Junction near Yokneam Illit in northern Israel.
The terrorist was identified as 25-year-old Kerem Jabarin from Ma’ale Iron, an Israeli Arab community in the “Triangle” region of northern Israel, south of Yokneam.
Police said Jabarin rammed his car into a soldier standing at the bus stop, then exited his vehicle and stabbed the soldier he hit before grabbing the soldier’s weapon and using it to shoot at passing vehicles.
Horn’s son was driving past, with his father in the vehicle, as the attack was taking place; he stopped his car to help and while doing so, his father was shot and killed by the terrorist.
The soldier was severely injured in the attack. He was taken to a nearby hospital for medical care and his family was notified.
