Thank you so much for your work!
Thank you collive for posting.
There’s only so much control one can have over a school and its students. Of course, the ultimate is recognition of the Creator and that’s up to the student and/or parent. Like it says, if you try to grab everything, you end up with nothing. Baruch Hashem we got this far, and many students and parents do see this as an oppurtinity to pray…
ok we hear they are calming themselves down but i agree with 24 and 8 its about connecting with a higher power and bringing down baracha
its supposed to be about recognizing that there is a creator and master of the world and that the world is not a jungle. relaxation is not the point that the rebbe wanted to accomplish although it may be a fringe benefit
In yud alef Nissan lamed bies: that this will help criminal activity!!!!
Yaasher Koach Rabbi Frank! A truly wonderful initiative of the Rebbe. It’s so inspiring! Moshiach is on his way!
we have it in school in c”h and i love it!!
the Rebbes dream coming true! i cant wait to see the Rebbes smile when moshiach comes! it should be now!
the whole world is ready for piece and happiness!
beautiful very deep and intelligent kids. Agree with 10. very on point: the Alter Rebbe explains in Tanya that anger is essentially a lack of Emunah meaning that Simcha= Emunah (don’t know if it explains that second point in Tanya itself but have seen sources in other places) so yes, they are inadvertently if you will getting in touch with Emes and with Hashem through letting go of the notion that the people (parents, bullies, friends) in their life are in control. Letting of anything negative is an extremely great accomplishment.
GO RABBI FRANK! GO REBBETZIN SHIRA FRANK(READ HER BOOKS)!. GO MOSHE FRANK!. GO ARON FRANK! GO MENACHEM FRANK! GO SHEVA FRANK TAUBY! GO LIBA FRANK ANDRUSIER! GO DEVORA FRANK! YAY FOR THE FRANKS!
With Rabbi Frank help and guidance I’ve gone to some schools in Crown Heights. Thank God a school began having moment of silence. When I touched base with the principal to see how it was going, she said that they wanted to stop it, but the children said “no” they wanted it!!!
You can get involved too by spreading awareness as much as possible! The world needs more stability… it helps make the world a safer place… Teenagers won’t feel the need to blow up buses etc G-d forbid… thank you R’ Frank for your tremendous work in this area!
Answer to #9- the fourth student said :”We say the prayers through the Moment of Silence”- The Rebbe said that if the child is זוכה, his parents will speak to the children about G-d, the night before school. What is unique about the Rebbe’s idea of the Moment of Silence, is that it includes the children asking their parents what to think about during the Momenr of Silence, the night before. That is how Rabbi Frank presents the idea, to schools and politicians. The Rebbe said that in that time, the idea of G-d can be presented, as an idea… Read more »
That sounds like a good idea! I think i will try that!
Mayb once their in their relaxed calm, state of mind then they and everyone as a matte off fact can connect better to G-d.
What a special endevour you undertook single handedly! You are making the Rebbe so proud!
I’m a shliach and I will share this with my community. Thank you for working on this and spreading this.
You’re right the Rebbe wanted ultimately the “Eye..” however, in presenting it publicly, because of the anti-prayer climate in the country, we presented it as a n educational aid. The Rebbe did say, paranthetically, that those parents who’ll merit it, will use the merit to tell their children about the “Eye…”
For these children, to relax and let go of anger is letting go of avoda zara. They are gettiing in touch with their neshama whether they realize it or not, and they are bringing peace into their hearts, their homes , their schools, and their community. Is this not miracle enough?
These kids are talking about thinking about their bad feelings and overcoming anger etc. So it seems like it’s all abou themselves. Isn’t the whole point about thinking about Hashem?? I didn’t hear any of these kids make even one word mention about G-D. Btw, these kids all sound to be traumitized.
They are thinking to relax… but The Rebbe said for them to think about G/D and to connect to G/D in the way that their parents wish…
To be aware of G/D ,and to pray to Him. will help with moral choices etc.
Out of the mouths of children! Such nachas!
It’s very good and positive but are the kids picking up that there is an eye that sees and an ear that hears?
A true chossid!!!
The koach of the Rebbe MHM…. That’s what these kids are feeling.
Go Rabbi Frank!
This is beautiful!!
THIS IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!
KOL HAKAVOD!!!!!
P.S. Did the Rebbe ever speak about Moment of Silence in Jewish\ Frum schools…..? I think it would greatly help!!!!
especially since we would be able to give the kids the info what to think about which isnt necessary possible in public schools, as the Rebbe speaks about
a really big yasher koach to whoever made this!
u should post this on facebook and whats app and twitter and every other goyish website in the world.
yehi ratzon that soon the whole world will fulffiling the Rebbes command that every school should have a moment of silence!
