Thank you to The Zekelman family for their generosity. Thank you to the people who worked countless hours to compile this data. The struggle for our schools has never been about not knowing what to teach, rather how to teach. While this is an important step in the right direction, how are we to ensure that our children are mastering theses skills before being moved along the factory line? How are we to ensure that the learning and assessments are aligned to the prescribed standards and benchmarks?

Pioneering Work

This website is a watershed moment in Jewish education.
Without standards there is no way to gauge progress or regress for that matter.. at best teachers would have arbitrary standards which were not cohesive from year to the next or one school to the next.. the next step is to create a universal curriculum for all Jewish subjects.. starting from reading and writing to niggleh & chassidus.. G-d bless you Zalmi Schneur.. this is no doubt the most important issue facing the frum community, in particular the Lubavitch community. Kol Hakavod!

I was waiting for ever so long, for a system like this to surface! A organized system with which teachers can give their students MODERN TOOLS to learning Chumash and Gemarah, instead of going about with the current method which is really just to thrust the Gemarah before the student, and merely translate the words for him, without giving him: A basic explanation of the structure of the Gemara; its grammer laws; its rules and Klalim; and the vast other tools needed to properly learn Gemara. I applaud and commend your beautiful project, and will definitely (Bli Neder) take part… Read more »
