to Hashem for sharing a truly wonderful soul with us for the time she was on earth. We wanted her to be with us longer and don’t understand why she is not. We are crying. After our tears dry we should remember her and make her life lessons our own. We’ll miss her warm welcome: Remember her example and be more welcoming ourselves. We’ll miss her caring questions: Remember her example and be more solicitous ourselves. We’ll miss the quiet joy on her face as she watched the community she helped build. Remember her example and contribute to the community’s… Read more »

Simchas Only!
Hundreds of children have been taught by Morah Zlata. She would connect personaly and chat with EVERY one of them. Morah Zlata was the Principal of our Pre-School, but she actually bothered to come into our individual classrooms, every week. She would teach the kids Parsha and about the Chagim. She loved the teachers on her staff, and respected us, but she just loved the children all so much, that she wanted to be involved directly in their Chinuch. It’s unbelivable that she is not with us here today.Graduation Day is tomorrow, she is so missed – Boruch Dayan Haemes.… Read more »

Morah Zlata was the heart and soul of the MJBHA pre-school and indeed to the entire Jewish community. She was such a warm, caring individual who made everyone who encountered her feel special and loved. Hamokom Yenachem Eschem Besoch Shaar Avlei Tzion V’Yerushalayim. May she rest in peace and have eternal Shabboses.
Our thoughts and prayers, The Shapero family in Coral Springs
Zlata was a good woman. She dedicated her life to the service of others. When you spoke with her she listened. She cared. Her passing is huge loss to the D.C. Jewish community and the Jewish people at large and of course her family and extended family. I am so saddened to hear this terrible news. Baruch dayan emes.

We love you so!
BEG BEG BEG Hashem for Moshiach!!
We are left flat and empty by the news, Zlata was important to our family. She uplifted everyone in the concentric circles that spread out from her and we were blessed to be inspired and raised up by her. We wish there was more that words could express, of the numbness in us.
“And every wise hearted woman spun with her hands, and they brought spun material: blue, purple, and crimson wool, and linen”…She was there for us at the very beginning, and she is there for us still. She was there at times of elation and was there in times of distress. She was there in times of hope and is still there in times of despair. She, is our greatest advocate Zlata Geisinsky z”l. It is said the mother knows what the child has not said. I take comfort in knowing that you always knew how much you meant to each… Read more »
Our condolences to the whole family.
Lenny and Anna, Rockville MD.
The family will be sitting shiva in Crown Heights today only, until 6:00 pm at 1456 President Street the rest in MD
I am still in shock. I had the privilege of knowing Zlata as a friend and confidant. We met when our daughters were quite young and and our friendship continued until she was taken home by HaKodesh Baruch Hu. May her entire family and kehilla be comforted among the mourners of Yerushalayim & Zion. Bring Moshiach NOW!
mushky we are all shocked. we are all crying with you, we are all here for you.
may you only have revealed good in your life from now on!
Omen! Hashem send MOSHIACH NOW!!!!
Thank you Lord for loaning and sharing with us your treasure Zlata. Thank you Zlata for so beautifully sharing your goodness and joy with us. I am blessed to have known you.
As Rav Soloveitchik z”l pointed out, that when Aharon hakohen was faced with the death of this sons Nadav and Avihu the Torah says “vayidom Aharon”-Aharon was silent, still. If Aharon HaKohen, the great orator, whom God chose to be the mouthpiece of Moshe Rabbeinu, who was the “man of the people”, undoubtedly an articulate, well loved individual with no lack of words, and yet when faced with the death of his two sons, had nothing to say, but shocked acceptance, how then can we seek to find words that are sufficient to react to such a tragedy? “Machshevosai lo… Read more »
Benny , be strong!
mushky, i have no words to express my sorrow. just know that we are all there for you and we love u very much. may u only hear of good news from now on.
I just met with Zlata on Tuesday to talk about school for our son. We are so sad and numb and in disbelief. May her name be for a blessed memory. May her family and all the mourners in Zion seek comfort from her blessed memory. The Porat Family
The Family will be sitting shiva in their home in MD
For those reading these comments who may not have known Zlata well I just want to give you a small sense of the impact that she made on so many. Together with Karen Cohen she created and ran the Mikvah in Potomac and because of all she did hundreds of women who may otherwise not have shlepped to another mikvah – quite a distance away – were able to take on and do this Mitzvah properly. And she greeted everyone with a smile and made everyone who came feel good.(no matter how late the hour) She was also the Director… Read more »

my sincere sympathy to those who lost a loved one way too early.
but people. get over the fact that we don’t and won’t understand who dies when.
if this and other “untimely” deaths move you, then they should move you to value your life this minute and that with your loved ones.
perhaps get off this computer and spend quality time with someone who might not be here tomorrow.
Baruch Dayan HaEmes. Rabbi, children, the world is less for your loss. Zlata was a good friend to all, a good role model for all of us, not just her own children. My heart is breaking for all of you. If tears were diamonds we could comfort and support all of you forever. Her goodness will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. I am proof of that. You are all very precious to so many. May everything Zlata did in her too-short life with us be returned to you one-thousand-fold. With love from Malka… Read more »
Dearest Geisinskys,
We are very sad to hear of your loss. Your family was a tremendous source of support for my wife and her children. May you suffer no more. Baruch dayan haemes.
You will be missed dearly by so many. By so many students. You changed so many lives for the better.
We are all in shock here in Silver Spring, Potomac, Bethesda, and Chevy Chase. It will be very difficult to walk into the MJBHA preschool tomorrow morning. We missed her on Thursday and Friday and will painfully feel her absence tomorrow , knowing that she is not simply away for a simcha or unfortunately for her father’s passing ZT”L. The hallways of the preschool will be filled with mourning parents. Zlata was our advisor and a strong influence when it came to making important decisions regarding our children and the children of so many preschool parents. It will be very… Read more »
