Yeshiva TTL Queens recently had the honor of hosting the Menahel of The Rabbinical College of South Africa Rabbi Zevi Weinberg, who delivered an in-depth presentation on the intricacies of Halachic measurements.
Rabbi Weinberg led the development of innovative measurement tools, designed to give clarity in this complex area of Torah. Bochurim were quizzed on the various scenarios in which Tefach, Amah, Log, Zeret, Kav, and Shekel are used. The importance of understanding these measurements, are crucial for so many aspects of Halachain Kiyum Hamitzvhos as well ias in Mekach U’Memkar (buying and selling)
Rabbi Weinberg’s visit inspired Yeshiva TTL Queens students to enhance their Koch in Limud HaTorah and gain a deeper understanding of the practical applications in Halacha.
